The tea party movement has been accused of being racist. Saturday's speakers took the opportunity to defend the movement against accusations that it is racist.

"We've been called ... stupid ... racist ... low class," radio talk show host Vicki McKenna said. "Niger Innis, are you a black man?" she said, referring to another of the event's speakers. Innis is black.

When Innis got up on stage, he continued the defense.

"If you are looking for a racist in this crowd, I'm a racist," Innis said. "I'm a racial partisan for the human race."
