Ruth McVay: (responding to questions whether Natalee made an arrangement with Joran to go to Carlos ‘n Charlies) Not with him. Absolutely not. With us. She went with all of our friends. He wasn’t with us. He didn’t go with us. He (Joran) came with his friends. He had told us that night that Sunday was not a fun night on the island and that no one goes out. So we found it ironic that he showed up. (Ironic part about this one is, Jaimie’s statement that Joran called him earlier in the evening before ever meeting the girls in the casino to ask him to go to CnC with him to meet some MB girls.)

Francis Ellen Byrd: (to question whether just Natalee was left behind or was there a group) No, I don’t know how many people exactly, but there was a lot of people there at closing time, including the local people and all the other people that were in Carlos and Charlie’s that night. And when we all left, there was just a huge group of people waiting outside for taxis, and I never saw her get into that taxi.

Virginia Page: I remember dancing with her for most of the time, and then an hour before (Carlos ‘N’ Charlies) closed, I didn’t see her again. She hadn’t planned on meeting (Van der Sloot), he just happened to be there

Alana Jordan: ( The last time I saw Natalee, we were leaving the club, and a friend of mine went back to the club because we were going to make sure that no one got left because we were leaving at closing. And we ran into her and asked her if she was Ok. And she said, “Yes” and indicated that she was going back to the hotel with some other Mountain Brook students.

Ed Kissel: I think I saw her a little later that night. I had stayed in Carlos ‘n Charlie’s pretty long, and I saw her dancing with Van Der Sloot later that night. (Remember Joran said he didn’t dance and don’t dance)

Holly Brown: (I) found Van Der Sloot to be very different. We noticed he was in the casino all by himself. He lied about his age, and when we went on the (Carlos ‘N Charlie’s) Web site, we found pictures of him there one week before at the same place, wearing the same clothes.

Katherine Weatherly:Well, Carlos and Charlie`s closed at 1:00 o`clock, and when it closed, everyone was getting in taxis at the same time and it was really chaotic. And I got in a taxi, and everyone just thought that everyone would get home Ok. There were so many people leaving at one time, it was just…

Natalee was never seen at the Holiday Inn again. She was never seen again by anyone after leaving CnC’s with Joran, Deepak and Satish.

O/T - Da judge is in the court

I have been invited to appear on Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown.  I recently filed a case in Magistrates court for $14,000.00 against a woman who won't return one of my Yorkies.  When I was hospitalized I had my dogs boarded at the vet.  A lady I don't know, never met, who is an ex-employee and friend of the vet, paid my vet bill and the kennel released my dogs to her.  I never gave her permission. Hell, I didn't even know the lady. She held my dogs ransom and demanded a dog.  I repaid the vet bill, but she would not sign a receipt, nor would she take a check or money order.  She refused to meet with me, my sister or BIL.  I have asked her numerous times to return my dog as she is part of my breeding program. The vet has asked her to return my dog, and the coporate office has asked her to return my dog.  She refuses and said she would only turn over the dog if the Judge ruled in my favor.  I whelped that dog, have had her since she drew her first breath.  I have Registration papers in her, and own her mother & father.  The lady is insane.  Every lawyer I have spoken to has said she would lose the case.
On top of that, my dogs came home (except for the one she would not return) flea infested and with flea nests.  She cut their whiskers off, cut their topknots off, cut the hair around their eyes, and chopped and lopped their full-length coats.  She fed them Little Caesars crap food which is full of fat.  My dogs could have gotten pancreatitis from that food.  She never bathed them or groomed them, and when I got them home and bathed them the water turned black.  They stunk like feces and urine.  She let 2 of my dogs mate, and would not tell me when they mated.  Then I found out she has a large intact male that could have gotten her.  If the big dog did, my dog could have died giving birth.  On top of that, she may have damaged my prized stud who comes from a line of over 120 Champions on both sides of his parents.  I don't know if he will ever be able to reproduce again.   In addition, she lives in a tiny house has 5 nig dogs and 9 cats of her own.  Plus nine of my dogs.  

Very interesting case.  She's nuts.  She threatened to take out a restraining order on me when I went to her house with the Sheriff to ask her to give my baby back. She's a whacko.

I see the party atmosphere has filtered over here.  The sunshine is so bright this morning....... Last time I saw Cat he was behind the piano purring loudly.   Love everyone's new avatar.  Will have to put on my shamrock outfit soon too.   Hope CBB is alright.
Very good news out of the Aruban Triangle.  Things are starting to fall into place and as I have said before Anita is in it up to her bra straps.
Now we have Paulus picking up Joran and dear Natalee at Macca's, which makes more sense than the 2K version.  Was this when she fell and hit her head - getting into Paulus' car and was that when Joran had to pick her up to carry her?  A little bit of truth is always mixed in with all the lies.

I've thought this also.  But, he wouldn't want to include the MB boys, so I think he planned on "carving out" a couple girls.  The one Natalee asked to meet the friends didn't accept the offer. He then offered Natalee a ride home to the hotel he was staying at....the question is...what was the REAL plan??

Oh, Sunfreak, I am so sorry that you and your doggies have endured this. And that the one is still in that woman's clutches. Please keep us updated~ maybe a thread all its own so we can keep up?

Why in the world did the VET allow her to pay your bill?
Is the Vet part of the leagal suit?
Did you also pay the vet?
How did Judge Judy or Judge Joe Brown get involved?

SunFreak  That is outrageous!  If this woman was a friend of the vet, the vet would know that she did not own your dogs.  Are you suing the vet and the boarding kennel also for negligence? The poor dogs - they must have wondered what was happening to them to be treated like that.  Has it affected their temperaments at all? I mean made them nervous or wary of people.  I am so sorry for you and the dogs in particular.  What a ratbag of a woman.

She was served last Friday and has 30 days to respond.  Then it will be scheduled to the docket.  Maybe not until April, unless she responded already.

Wow. SF2 what a complex and sad situation for you. I wonder why that wack has so many animals? Has she perhaps tried this scheme before
in cahoots with the vet and gotten away with it? Has your vet been your vet for a long time and is he/she someone you can totally trust not to be involved in any kind of illegal under-takings. Most states have a free website where you can check and see if any liscensed proffessionals have been sued before. I'd check him out first. It sounds illegal for him to have
given over possession of the dog under the circumstances. Small claims court would not likely give you adaquate venue to recoup your losses without bringing suit against the wack and the vet separately?
