Aurelia Martinez was last spotted on Edwards near downtown Houston.


Police are searching for a missing 85-year-old woman who was last in touch with her family Sunday afternoon.

Aurelia Martinez was last seen in the 1300 block Edwards near downtown.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and she weighs about 115 pounds. She has black and white hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing an orange-peach-colored T-shirt and green sweat pants.

Anyone with information about the case or Martinez's whereabouts is asked to contact the Houston Police Department Missing Persons Unit at 713 731-5223.
