Has anyone gotten the IPad and what do you use it for and how do you like it?

Thanks.

I'm a person that doesn't like complication in my life. I don't own a cell phone, don't own any video games or things like that, wouldn't have a clue what an IPad is. I just looked up that Kindle thing, guess I'm old fashioned, like to physically hold a book, and newspaper. I have never caught up with today's technology.

I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday.

I am praying for your family members and your furbabies, for the ones who have requested prayers and those who may not have spoken up, God knows what is in your heart, and I am praying for you, too.

TBM, I am glad your husband was not hurt and since the deer was, he did not die in vain, but will have nourished your family.

Green Eyes, I am so glad you are home, I have not seen you on late at night, I hope that means you are sleeping well.

Deenie, hi to you!

Northern Rosie, you are in my heart and my prayers, I wish there was something I could do.

For all our children, I hope and pray God keeps you safe, tucked in his arms and surrounded by his love and peace.

boyzmom...yep..looks plenty dead to me!

how do u cook venison? do you make roasts? people that I know make deer  sausage ...

2 pounds venison tenderloin cut into 2 inch chunks
4 cups apple cider
1 1/2 pounds thick sliced bacon
2  bottles barbecue sauce your choice

Place chunks of venison into a shallow baking dish, and pour enough apple cider in to cover them. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Remove and pat dry. Throw out the apple cider and return venison to the dish. Pour barbeque sauce over the chunks, cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 more hours. Fire up the BBQ.  Remove meat from the refrig and let stand for 30 minutes,or until no longer chilled. Wrap each chunk of venison in a slice of bacon, and secure with toothpicks.
Brush the grill grate with olive oil when hot and place venison pieces on the grill so they are not touching. You will get flames beacuae of the bacon so do nto leave yoru grill. BBQ turning occasionally  until the bacon becomes slightly burnt about 15 to 20 minutes. The slower the better.

That looks yummy! I have printed it out for use when Bambi gets processed!

JSM - battle of the blades is on tonight.  Katia brought in her choreographer from when she was with Sergi, Marina Zueva.  Marina expected Val to know what she wanted.  It was a whole pile of Russian swearing and Katia was laughing.  I wish you could see it.

B- sometimes I go on to find a specific book for Kindle, otherwise I usually just look around for books that look good..they have the best sellers and they are cheaper than the actual book..I think that my Kindle can hold up to 1500 books...the newer models perhaps more and of course newer features...Kindle 2 has the capability of "reading" the book to you...say if you are driving on a trip, you can listen to your book..
I personally love it..

I am supposed to be on the road............haven't showered yet.
I had to catch up on Zahra and my JSM BFB friends first.
Thank you for the kind and loving words.  Deenie, your music suggestions are most welcomed and wonderful.  I love your heart.

Trimm, I want a hand painted closet w/ Clouds etc .................seriously, I do.   I could take my Kindle in there and just take a break.  You are such a giving, loving person!  SK is lucky and so are you.

4Donks...............you are so right and such an inspiration to me.  I have already adopted you and your attitude as motivation when I feel stuck.

Everyone, thank you for being here.

NR, your research and dedication on the Zahra thread is so much appreciated.

Brandi, Your peaceful ways and kindness are amazing.

OH............I hate when I know I 've left someone/something out..................Not intentional as EACH OF YOU BRINGS SOMETHING WONDERFUL TO MY LIFE.

Now I better shower and get on the road.

Hugs and love from

Hi Bearly,
For now I am sleeping regular hours    But I am sure in time I will go back to the late night stuff. Today my friend and I went to pick up granddaughter round time was 257 miles. So I am beat after driving so long. But she had a great time at her friends so it was worth it.

Who is Johnny Weir?

I am watching Battle of the Blades, Dancing with the stars but on ice. http://www.cbc.ca/battle/  Take female ice skater, pair with hockey player, make them perform and judge them. Tonight is dance night, last week was bring back sexy.   It is fabulous.  Johnny Weir is a US mens skater who had a melt down at the Vancouver Olympics because his accommodations in the athlete village where not what he specified.  He considers himself a male version of Lady Gaga.  He is actually skating tomorrow for the results to a Lady gaga song .
