Hi Tevye. How is work and the grandchillens? Hope all is well with you and all. 

work is insane, I only had time to drink 1 diet coke today! I drew the line at doing 6 things at once....!
The grands are great, we went to one of their soccer games Sat, except for the rain, it was a blast.

Sorry the work is doing you in Tevye. Glad you had fun at soccer game. Gosh, at least I can go smoke and have a diet coke at work. I won't complain anymore.

Unanimously Kati and Bure stay.  Russ and Tuffy are out.  Next week's theme is "bringing sexy back".  Russ has received $25K for the Archie Courtnall Mental Health Centre in BC which was named after he dad. 

Sad about them getting knocked out. Glad he is getting $$ for his facility for mental health. That is wonderful.

Thanks for the updates, plus I didn't realize Bret Hull was a judge until this morning. He is the nicest guy in the world. He was on a plane with me back from London and I didn't even recognize him until my friend jumped up and shook his hand. He was so courteous and genuine. Looked like chit because I think he was hung over from the concert the night before and was wearing white sweat pants and a white sweat shirt that were too tight, but looked as cute as a button.

His dad Bobby is also an amazing guy.  I remember driving for hours with my dad to a autograph signing for Bobby Hull  when I was maybe 8 or 9.  We waited for hours in line and he was such a nice guy, actually talked to me asked me my name , who my favourite player was (at the time it was Eddie Shack and I told him so) he laughed and said Eddie was a good guy and that was ok by him.  I got him to sign a hockey card and then he also signed this autograph book I had.  He made me feel like he was waiting just for me to get through the line.

Benji is just like new already! for 13 yrs old he is amazingly healing fast which is good..he is even playing with his toys and wants to go out back to do his business by himself without us carrying him down the stairs so I just let him go...He has always wanted his privacy...strange dog...he will pee whereever but he wants to be hiding behind something like tall grass or a bush to do his other business..lol...

I am off to Milwaukee for the day with some girlfriends to visit another friend so I will be back this evening to catch up with you all...have a wonderful day!

It's been at times under 45 degrees at night, to peak at mid to high 50's for the last few days.

Was just less than a week ago 89 degrees..   

Mother Nature must be preoccupied, because this is not normal for Michigan

We are known though to have every season within a driving distance.. this though is way off for even our abnormal. So much for Global Warming ..

So glad to hear that your pooch is feeling better!!
I HAS been cold, but I love the cool sunny days.  The forecast sounds lovely through the weekend.
I love fall.
I wish my PJ would like privacy for his 'jobs'.
Since he was so sick when I rescued him he has some odd behaviors.  He had giardia and could never be around his own feces. so I walked him till he 'went' and then cleaned up ~ I even carried bleach so no other dogs would get infected.  Consequently the little guy thinks his bum is attached to the leash.  He will piddle in the yard but will only go Poop on a walk on the leash.  It is so hard in winter.  My back yard is fenced and it would be so easy to just open the sliders for him.......................I keep trying to train him to 'go' out by himself, but he just 'holds' it till we go for a walk.  He gets nervous and anxious with a change in routine and it is just not worth it to have him so upset.  On the plus side..........I can take him anywhere.  He NEVER makes a mess in any house.........................but it is really a pain to have to walk him 2 X every single day.  Rain, shine, ice, snow, wind, temperature............
One time I had to board him for 3 nights.  I took him to that place on Riverside and Mulford.  They were wonderful and clean and kind, but PJ did not poop till he got home and got a walk.  I asked his vet if I could just hold out till he finally had to go.  Vet said he probably would hold it for days till he got sick.................not worth it.

I need Cesar Milan to come visit to help me.
I am too old to be falling in the snow and ice.
Well, if anyone read this drivel :  Thank you.  Feels good to type it out as it does frustrate me.

Tolerance, Zoe would not do either job in our yard  and one time her friend Scooter came to play in the yard and went to the bathroom and Zoe was not to happy about it. Who can figure what must be going through their minds with things like that? And then when it was raining and we walked she wouldn't go because all the smells were gone from the grass because of the rain.
