Hey Monkeys, a little off topic but I hope all the southern monkeys are ok with all the bad weather down here.  I live in south Ar and have had 3 tornadoes all around me today!  Just miles from me much damage and people killed!  Me, my girls and my kitty cats escaped damage though! I think all of my friends are ok also.  There is one girl who works with me at the jr college who I am concerned about but I am trying to check on her.  Please remember those in my area in your prayers!

Casa - glad to hear you and your family are OK.  I just heard something on the news (Fox) about the tornado warnings in AR.  Please be safe.

Well, I just read the documents and it seems as if Mr. Wood had all his papers here in Canada in order. This is really all a sad case. The level of fighting beween the parents where everything is spelled out like this even when the Mum could visit the school.. well, he got played in agreeing that the kids could go to Japan.

We only have his side of the story.  It sounds like she was not happy in Canada, living in his parent's house. He got a new girlfriend in 2002 and divorced the wife in 2004 and then demanded some huge legal fees, court costs and child support.  Did the Japanese wife understand the Canadian justice system and/or was her English good enough to follow along? Did she really avoid attending the court case for custody of her children or was she not informed?  It seems that every time he wanted to place more restrictions on her, he would get the courts and lawyers involved and charge her the costs of the proceedings. Even the custody battle states "The Defendant (wife) will pay to the Plaintiff (husband) the costs of this proceeding"   I am not inclined to believe he was faultless and she was guilty of everything bad.
Me too, it takes two to mess things up to this degree.
Well, she was not an uneducated resourcesless person as she was a flight attendant.  She did work odd shifts, not 9 to 5 in one location and that might have been why he got the primary custody. But they usually award joint in these cases. The courts here do favor the Mum and the ages of the kids does make a difference. But a woman or a man who denies parental rights to the other is a messed up person regardless of what went on in the marriage.

Was trying to find out approximately where the accident happened:

A real throwback to a simpler time, the E. De Veer Drive-In Theatre, Kibaima z/n, across from the Balashi Brewery on the road to Savaneta and San Nicolas (tel. 297/585-8355; www.seaportcinemas.com), is a rare treat. The chance to watch a film (usually American) in a vast field under the stars? In Aruba? That's exotic. Admission is about $4, but Sunday and Wednesday are "car crash" nights -- less than $6 admits a whole carload. Expect tons of Aruban teens, sweethearts, and families with kids in tow. Scheduling information is available online.

Maybe a tower is down and she's not getting the signal, casa. I'll cross my fingers.

Welcome newbies, semi-newbies and those who were lost and returned!

WOW!!! A drive-in theatre.  I won't admit to how many years ago I went to one of those  Laughing
It seems every night is car crash night over there.  Obviously they do not have speed limits or road rules or if they do, they are ignored like all their other laws.

oops - Good morning/evening Monkey mates.

And welcome to Green Eyed Lady.
There have been a lot of members join since I did and I think I have only seen one or two posting.  I wonder what all the others do?

Cat You had better stay indoors tonight with all that rough weather around your area.
I hope all our monkeys are safe and warm.

The bad weather most of Ohio is suppposed to get arrived @6:00pm as predicted; 1-2" of Ice, followed by snow & ice mix, then rain. More than likely will be power outages due to ice on wires.

Hey San,
I just went to that dictionary. Here is the page for Pimp. Of course there is something like 6 pages. Still the majority are just what you said. Except you said it cleaner. LOL

I agree Tibro, We keep getting new members but seldomm see them post so it is really nice when they do.

As to that accident in Aruba. I think of one of our Aruba posters , sorry I can't think of his name. He is a nice young man even though he is a Joran supporter. I think he is 16. Of course I hope it was not him in the car. We have not seen him in along time now.

Thanks Sam.

Bottom line to me is a PIMP is a criminal.  I don't care how kids use the  term today in Joran's case he is a PIMP who is looking to make money by illegal activities (drugs, gambling, selling porn videos of his victims).  Joran is a criminal.
