Thanks, Janet. I remember the car tape contents, but the translation didn't seem to be explicit that Natalee was the girl referred to in that segment.

I don't remember a 15 minute interview between Greta and Deepak. It's been a while, I know, but I was just wondering if any of you remember it?

Yes, Deepak said "she did" in agreement with what Jamie Skeeters had just said.  If he had said "she didn't" it would have required explanation as it would be contrary to the conversation and the context.  It would have made no sense if he said "didn't" without follow up on that.  I never understood how or why there was controversy about that.

That was my understanding as well, CBB.  That he hit "a girl" and so assumed it was not Natalee since she wasn't named.  Now it seems it was.

Well, the lawsuit always was BS. I think it's over. The Kalpoe's don't have a leg to stand on, IMO. I wish that on them literally, BTW.

JMO but I doubt this suit would have ever been filed had they known that Dr. Phil and CBS would actually fight it.  Or had they known that Joran would strike again and so obviously.
