I don't think any of know what Spencer Bachus was thinking when he "emerged" from that meeting.

We don't know what was discussed in the meeting so we certainly don't know what he became a
"beleiver" in.

Spencer Bachus' own words upholding the Natalee Holloway investigation after "emerging" from the meeting with the Aruban Delegation leaves no doubt to what he "believes".  Those words were quoted and sourced in my last post.

Magnolia ... in the past you articulated your speculations regarding Spencer Bachus and the Aruban delegation meeting ... speculations that also entered my thought process.  However ... Anna's explanation does make sense.

That meeting with Bachus was a real shocker.  I would love to have been a fly on the wall at that meeting.  He has never mentioned the Natalee Holloway case again to my knowledge.

And they let the lovely? Arleen deliver the payoffs.  I have always felt that Bachus took a bribe.  He looked so guilty when he came out of that meeting.

I never said what Spencer Bachus believed.  I don't know that and neither do you.
I know what I believe about Bachus, but I can't read his mind and I don't think you have gained
that ability either.

Neither do I know what was discussed at the meeting.  I don't think that has ever been disclosed.
If I recall correctly, the DA for both Shelby and Jefferson Counties were present at the meeting.
Neither of those men have discussed the meeting either.

It is one thing to state my opinions about a public figure, but I would never be so presumptuous
as to state what is in his mind and put it out as fact.
