Why do some keep suggesting America is falling behind?  That America should be keeping up with Asia and Europe?

Who cares if Asia and Europe have high speed trains.  We have SUV's!!!  How many new cars are on the road monthly in Asia?  China alone?  Millions.

Why should anyone in the US care about keeping up with the Euro and Asian Jones?

Why shouldn't Americans march to their own drummer?  To their own beat?

Why should anyone be forced into poverty trying to keep up with the Jones?

If we were trying to keep up with the Jones SUV and vacation, we'd be labeled 'materialistic'.
