Kenton Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders confirmed to the Kentucky Enquirer that the case of 39-year-old Bobby Jo Perry II of Elsmere is the northern Kentucky county's first human trafficking case.

Trial date set in human trafficking case

COVINGTON - A convicted child molester who allegedly sold a boy he sodomized to another pedophile will be tried in January on a human trafficking charge.

Bobby Jo Perry II, 39, of Elsmere faces five years to 10 years in prison if found guilty of the charge. He will be tried along with Lance Antonio Presswood, 42, of Cincinnati. Presswood is charged with first-degree sodomy.

The trial is set for Jan. 19 in before Kenton Circuit Judge Gregory Bartlett.

Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Stephanie Kastner claims Perry accepted money from Presswood in exchange for allowing that man to also sodomize the boy.

Kastner claims Perry and Presswood became acquaintances while locked up at the Kenton County jail on charges unrelated to molesting the boy. Kastner said Perry accepted the money after the pair got out of jail, but Kastner didn't know the amount that was exchanged.

Perry has been booked into the Kenton County jail at least eight times since 1997. Most of the arrests were on domestic violence charges. Presswood has been sent to the jail seven times since 2003 on charges ranging from cocaine possession to a probation violation.

Perry wasn't present for the hearing setting his court date. He is currently awaiting sentencing after a jury found him guilty last week of first-degree sodomy. The crime is punishable by 20-50 years or life in prison, and the jury recommended a 45-year sentence. Bartlett will sentence Perry on Nov. 8.

Presswood, freed July 2 on a $1,000 bond after his initial trial date was postponed, was in the courtroom Monday but declined to comment.

The law making it a felony in Kentucky to force someone into labor, domestic work or the sex trade went into effect in July 2007. Ohio passed a similar law in December 2008.

Perry's wife, 57-year-old Ernestine Perry, is also charged with multiple counts of rape for allegedly molesting the same boy. Her trial date hasn't been set.

There comes a time and a place where you just need to forgo the " add your own description" - of adults who " challenge the life, destroy the life of an innocent child"   
 

You have to offer your energy and love to this child, forget them, they that hurt him are not worth your fret, anger .. they have one destination and they know all to well where they will wind up...

For this little Boy I offer him my prayers and that HE should know his life is meaningful and he has a purpose - that he is not alone.

Child Abuse has been around since the time of Man. It is what it is. There is no excuse. Those who do abuse or take advantage of the young, the innocent - are broken people to begin with.  A cycle of life within their own. The ignorant, the uneducated - not talking about Education as in Books or Life - Simply uneducated in self. The lack of self worth, the lack of self esteem. Even the most educated can be lacking in social communication or ability to have a Place in this world.

The truth of the matter is that until " people" can understand themselves as beings - honor themselves as beings - Abuse will continue to survive.

That is why "We" as beings need to challenge our Youth by telling them they are worthy, kill them with kindness - even if they put their hands over their ears and say " Omg STOP" I can't take it anymore.. Threading the needle with promise will sink in ..years later..and then they will too offer it to their own children. You are Loved, You are Promise, YOU all alone can make a stance in this world - for Positive. In steps that may seem simple or even non-existent to them - Will carry on with ONE  - who will then share with another.  One Soul at at time .. Being. All starts with One. The one's who do not want to hear it - are the ones who really listen and crave more..they just do not know any other way ...  They are the silent listeners .. who Walk a thin line .. and Need the most Attention. 

Its up to us, that they do not fall, that they do not meet the " cracks" ..that small yet Huge definition of lost - " those who fall into the cracks" - Must be a gully by now.

For a child to be " within worth" should not be a gift, It should be taught from those who birth them, who give life to them As a Known. " In a perfect world"
To know they " as self" have self preservation skills~ to be able to make Choices, even as young as 2, 3 yrs of age. To be able to Scream " I will not be treated this way" 
Children at the age of 3 have a defined vocabulary in today's world, from all the stimulation of media and technology, its those who listen to them, that is important.

Unless those who keep them are their abusers, then the child will only remain silent. No one then hears them.

The only Way its going to become " Brighter" is by " Everyone becoming involved and for all to take a stance against Child Abuse, by taking their part - In notifying those who are to " Be in Charge of defeating Child Abuse" Call 17 times if you have to - Drive it home, so this child does not have to suffer till the point " Abuse" becomes their Right to Life and they then share it and spare it freely to the next generation.

A child requires Love, Water, Nutrition & a positive environment      For some those simple needs are not met. Prevention is part of the cure.

Deenie, I completely agree!~! It takes a village to raise a child.
I normally will skip over an article like this one because it hurts too much to know what that child may have been through. I know what I can handle and some of the details of these stories are just too terrifying for me.  You are so right too, we monkeys are a voice and a strong voice. If we can make a difference in one childs life, it would have been all worth it. Bless you Deenie and all monkeys for your passion and your strength to have a voice for children.
