Zahra Baker was born in the small Australian town of Wagga Wagga, about 200 miles west of Sydney.

Her paternal grandparents, Karen and Tony Baker, lived a short distance north of Sydney, in the coastal town of Newcastle. But they moved in May 2004 to Giru, several hundred miles farther north, along the northeast coast of Australia.

Adam, one of their four sons, moved to Giru about the same time with Zahra. The girl's biological mother was not part of her upbringing, family members have said.

Karen Baker told the Bulletin, a newspaper based in Townsville, a large city near Giru, that she was responsible for much of Zahra's upbringing, caring for the child while her father worked in a nearby sugar mill.

Shortly after starting at Giru State School, Zahra was diagnosed with cancer. She lost her leg and much of her hearing to the illness and was out of school for a year, according to the Townsville Bulletin.

But she has been reportedly married at least three times.

This " black widow" Elisa - has been shown on HLN and NG in snips of Video " talking" yet no sound is offered.

There must be a video of Elisa Baker speaking somewhere - with her hair being dyed with that swoosh of Red ..I believe it would have been within her stay in AU that the video was taken.
She and Adam married in AU - her hair with the Red Swoosh of Dye.

When Zahra was under medical care in AU - Elisamonster is in the photos with that Red dye in her hair. 

Has anyone come across the video -that has been snipped without sound yet seen on NG/HLN?

Wondering too with the Video being played over and over - On HLN/NG/CNN of Elisa Baker - being Arrested - For ?? after the report to LE that Zahra was Missing.

She is wearing a blue/grayish tshirt and running her mouth sideways - as if she doesn't want to get into the squad car.

I wonder what spurred this reaction from her?

She's more than scary - spooky, & he's running a close second;  These two are not, and never have been, in the running for Law-abiding Citizens of the Year, in America or in Australia.   

Perhaps when Zahra received the ability to hear again in North Carolina, she accidentially overheard something she wasn't supposed to hear?? Something which would be incriminating in a court of law in regards to ye olde  stepmother??

Thank You Northern, I am sure I can find it, if it's still posted on the net. I read today that Myspace removed her " Goth fairy" page for it was creating havoc - hmmph.  I have not checked to see. I don't think the press would lie about that.

I keep thinking she/ Elisa has a voice like the Granny/Misty Croslin's Grandmother who has been on NG's show for Haleigh Cummings - that voice makes me want to vomit. It puts me over. Ewe and Uggggh. Makes me think of Deliverance and Back Woods. UGGGH

My Father's side of the family are all from Kentucky and they have a bit of a twang - They are not though " Back Woods" .. so no hate to anyone who is Southern.

My Add, she doesn't look like Betty Crocker or a Babysitter -
 Let alone a Mama who would incorporate someone else's child into her life as her own. All is my opinion, based upon what has been said, what I have read and what I See in this photo.
