On Nancy Grace a local reporter said they are doing a story about tomorrow on there past couple residences and in an apartment they lived in Nov. '09, Zahra was forced to sleep in a crawl space.


This poor angel. She didn't want to leave Australia (only for a day to visit the US, she told her friend Kim) She fought to hard and struggled to live. Then she is forced to leave all her friends and family, all that she loved, to move oceans/thousands of miles away only to be tortured for 2 years and wind up being murdered by the woman her dad chose over her.

It breaks my heart to pieces.

The only comfort to this story(if any) she is in the arms of Jesus now..and will never suffer again.

How hot has it been in NC since last month.

Dogs hit on the cars. On the search warrant on stuff they pulled from the car, pillows, a sheet, a comforter...a bowl with food stuff in it.


What if she banned her to the car to sleep or stay for an extended period of time and she died in the car?

She/they move her to the SUV to get rid of her?

Pink Angel it has been hot ,...most days in the 90's or high 80's . It has been a really hot summer in the south, and we are just now cooling down to the 70's in the daytime.

Here is an interesting question. On page 6 of the search warrants, in the top box where it lists the vehicles, it lists a third vehicle an 05 Impala.

This Impala is not mentioned anyplace else in any of the search documents.

There was a guy on Nancy Grace last night and he said the leg itself would have tore up the wood chipper because it is made from titanium.

That is exactly what I thought.  Where is the leg then?  I believe this very well may be the murder weapon because of how evil the SM is and the fact she hurt her hand on it while spanking/beating Zahra in the past.

That's exactly what I've been thinking all along. 

God help me, but me too!!! glad that I wasn't the only one who thought this...

breaks my heart too! I picture how my little grand daughter would feel leaving me and I know that both of us would have our hearts broken if we had to be apart...my heart is crying right now...

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) –The social network presence for a woman whose stepdaughter has gone missing has suddenly disappeared from the network that hosts it. This move comes just two days after the site was exposed and many comments were left on it for the woman now jailed on obstruction of justice charges.

The MySpace page for Elisa Baker, known as "GothicFairy6668" on the service, is now no longer accessible. Baker, who is called "a person of interest" by police in the case of her missing stepdaughter, had a very disturbing page on the service. It was filled with images of skulls, bones and caskets along with a song titled "Living Dead Girl."

I may not post much, but pretty much read every day.  All I can say, out of all the cases here, as sickening as they all are, this one truly bothers me.  This is a young girl, who has over come horrible disabilities no 10 yr old child should have to endure, especially alone and abused,  and yet old enough to know better, yet continues to appear all is ok, even enduring more indispicable, non-sensical torture, truly sickens me to the core. I would like to know more about the bio-mom who appears to have abandoned her as well as extended family and friends is beyond comprehension.  This young girl, with her disabilities suffered more hurt and distrust than one can imagine,  even as an adult. I have nothing else I can say. I'm am truly disturbed and sickended by this.

Also, I only saw one comment on Elisa's page since Zahra's been reported missing.

The article implied there were multiple negative comments.

Police said Adam Baker also faces bad-check charges, but is not being arrested while he assists police.

"At this point, he's doing what we ask him to do. If we need him to do something, he shows up," said Clyde Deal, Hickory's deputy police chief. Deal said other searches have been conducted, but the warrants have been sealed and no details are being released.

Police said earlier this week that no one outside the girl's immediate family had reported seeing her for nearly a month. But Deal said Thursday that another witness had come forward to say they had seen Zahra in mid- to late September.
