PORTLAND, Ore. -- An 11-year-old boy who went missing after getting off a school bus on Tuesday may be in the Puget Sound area, authorities said on Thursday.
The boy, Lok Chante Marcellay, was last seen around 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 12 after getting off a school bus in front of his home in north Portland.

Early Thursday morning, the boy's biological mother, Morning Star Marcellay, was arrested in Olympia, Wash. The woman, who is not allowed to be with her son, was arrested on warrants in a different case.

Police believe the 11-year-old may be with his mother's boyfriend, 41-year-old Michael Wayne Hall. He is described as a Native American male who his 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 250 pounds.

A protective custody warrant has been issued for him by an out-of-state court. He has reportedly been seen by numerous witnesses and was confirmed to have recently been in the company of Hall. All of the sightings have been in the Puget Sound area.

The pair may be traveling in a black 1993 Dodge Caravan with Washington license plate number 660 ZZU.

Anyone with information about the boy's or Hall's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers of Oregon at (503) 823-HELP (4357) immediately.

You're correct, who to believe?  I do find it odd she doesn't have custody of any of her children.  Additionally, it is very unfortunate there have been cases where allegations of abuse from the custodial parent are found to be untrue.  Who to believe?
All I can say, is God knows all about it . . . may Lok be found safe and may the authorities check to make sure he stays safe.

North Portland 11-year-old found safe in Wash.

Authorities announced that the missing 11-year-old from North Portland was found safe and unharmed in Washington.

Lok (pronounced LOke) Chante Marcellay was last seen at about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in front of his Portland residence after being dropped off by his school bus.

The investigation never considered the case a possibility of a stranger abduction, and the boy's biological mother and boyfriend quickly became suspects.

In Olympia, Wash., 34-year-old Morning Star Marcellay--AKA Morning Star Means--Lok's biological mother, was arrested earlier by officers on warrants unrelated to the missing child case.

Her boyfriend, Michael Wayne Hall, is in contact with law enforcement and cooperating.

The circumstances surrounding how the child went missing are still being investigated, according to police.

Marcellay is with law enforcement and his family has been notified of his safe status.
