Where is Mr. No Balls Baker these days?  I have been thinking it would not surprise me if he did not " attempt"  a George Anthony...is that not the next chapter to the evil novel?

We certainly do need some humor!  It's been an ugly week.

I wonder what they are going to do next now that the mattresses weren't the ones they were looking for.

her attorney Scott Reilly, attorney Lisa Dubs and private investigator Steve Elhers.

Ehlers and Reilly have worked together before on a murder trial.  This is smelling like they know Elesa is guilty IMO.

Rents don't seem very high there.  Didn't she bounce a check for around $550 to the trailer park before this last move?

Department of Social Services spotlighted in Zahra Baker’s disappearance

Authorities investigating the disappearance of Zahra Baker had been searching a Lenoir landfill for a mattress that may contain possible DNA evidence and help them piece together a timeline of the 10-year-old girl’s disappearance, according to The Charlotte *******.

But the search was called off Friday after it failed to yield any clues.

It was the latest development in a case that has captured international headlines since Zahra went missing on Oct. 9.  The case has unfolded in Hickory, where Zahra lived with her father and stepmother but was last seen alive on Sept. 25, according to multiple news outlets. She is presumed dead and authorities are investigating the case as a homicide.

Recently, the Department of Social Services has been spotlighted over allegations that it failed to properly investigate alleged reports of child abuse against Zahra’s stepmother, Elisa Baker.  The stepmother is currently jailed on charges that she faked a ransom note to throw investigators off track in their search of Zahra.

The Charlotte ******* reported that Crime Stoppers in four counties announced Friday they are offering a $4,000 reward for information pertaining to Zahra’s case.

Yep, knew it was somewhere around that figure.  Still IF he was only bringing home $600 a month, even with all utilites included, just no way....could they have made it without "supplementing".........

I would guess that if the $600 is correct plus all the hours he worked that his boss is going to be investigated by wage per hour.

I am willing to bet that the rent is taken out - along with a usage of the truck (didn't he have a company truck?) - no way that wage and hour would not be on the bosses butt if he did not get paid minimum - which would have come to light when they applied for food stamps. I know we have to send in reports on a quarterly schedule of the girls that work part time for us and get food stamps.

From the Zahra Baker Fund FB Group that Greeson and his church have started.  I hope a lot of people hit the report page link and get them off FB.

Samantha Miller
This is pathetic. Why are you trying to exploit this little girl? Surely someone knows something about this group. Please contact me and help in my investigation.

@Samantha - our group is totally legal. All of our legal paperwork can be found on the website. Why not put your effort into finding Zahra instead of chasing something that isn't there?

I went to your website and saw the information for your raffle. When will the drawing be held?

Sure would be interesting to know how AB & Z came into the States -- Visitors Visa/Work Visa, etc...You would think with Homeland Security being so tight that applying for food stamps and the like, they would have to show proof of status here?
