My typing is terrible but my nails look terrific!

Perhaps the Dutch are steamed because the whole time Joran was making world headlines, he was ALWAYS referred to as the Dutchman and never the Aruban.  I know I would be.  Just another thought.  I am sure they are sick of this monster who truly should be identified as Aruban since he spent almost his entire life there.  They have to resent the smear on them because of those running wild on this island.

Did everyone notice that Aruba is doing it on one of our major holidays again.

I hadn't even thought of that, but you're right! I'm not sure that's good news.........

How many times did they bring Joran home for questioning on Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I remember one Christmas in particular.  They weren't questioning him they were just bringing the spoiled punk home with a police escort.  They were getting everyones hopes up thinking they would finally charge him with a crime only to find out they snuck him out.

iirc, there were releases or dealings on July 4th, Labor Day and during the Katrina disaster, too.

Maybe they are going to break the information to us gradually to try to prevent a media frenzy.  Good luck with that.  Too many people care too much for this to not be big news.

First it's a jawbone, then white small female, then officially small female, etc. right up until they confirm that it is Natalee.  I think this could have already been pretty well eliminated by the one tooth if it were not her.  If the tooth is too large or too small, would eliminate her so apparently it is close enough that it could in fact be her.

I have always wondered if Natalee wasn't found almost immediately from the charges brought and van der Straaten's statement of knowing she was deceased for a fact.

So I will make the suggestion only as a possibility to be considered that Natalee's remains have been under the control of the Aruban government all along.

Well, even if she  is recovered and this is her, there are so many things we will never know for a fact, only what we can surmise from the actions of those in charge of all of this.

Yes.  And also remember how new information would always come out on a Friday?

I too think they have all of her remains.

God Bless all of Natalee's family.

Yes, San, I remember Joran being brought home for Christmas courtesy of the Dutch tax payers.

Time and again news comes out on major holidays.  Maybe they don't realize that people home from work are just as likely to see it on holidays as any other time.  Unlike in Aruba, holidays are not an occasion to get stoned out of our minds.  More people are likely to be watching than when people are working, IMO.

I thought the testing was high priority.  If so, I believe they have been completed and we are waiting for Aruba to make the announcement - in their own timing.

I agree Anna.  He should be considered an Aruban.

Rock On, Snoopy!

I saw TATER and SPOOKY and so many others who seldom post any more.  At least news is good for that.

Most of you who have been posting and reading for so long know that I never lock into any one theory.  I don't know what happened after Natalee got into that car with those three suspects.  No one else does either even though some have very strong opinions as to what did happen, it is still conjecture.

Anyway, once in a while I go totally over the top and think Aruban authorities have had the remains there in the morgue or some such storage the whole time.  I know this is highly unlikely--like almost certainly so.  But early on I got fixated on that idea and it is hard to shake.  Remember the insistence there was DNA on the fake letter Paulus received?  And vd Straaten just knew she was dead almost immeidately?  Dave seeing someone from ALE slamming their trunk, etc.

Just a wild and crazy thought I have from time to time.  I don't even believe it myself but do think it once in a while in spite of myself.

I have mixed emotions about this.  In one way I want it to be Natalee so Beth can have her closure and in another way it's not enough.  I personally believe they have her body so in that instance I want Beth to have all of her returned to her rightful place for a proper burial.  They won't do it because then we will find out the truth which by they way we have known all along.

The truth encompassing the Persistence betrayal ... the truth encompassing the contents of the trap recovered by Aruban diver on January 7, 2008.

Kyle Kingman - In His Own Words

Kyle Kingman:
The Persistence had no divers on the 7th. Tim Trahan was our diver on the 30th-Dec, but he was out of the country at the time. The Aruban divers were on the police boat, dove from their boat, and returned to their boat.

Kyle Kingman: I get done in the survey room backing up the ROV dive and head to the back deck to talk to the Polis divers and see what they sampled and see the Polis boat way in the distance heading away fast. John doesn't seem concerned at all, but I am very dissapointed, concerned, and burning inside because I have a feeling that I/we will never know what they took from the trap. That evening I talked to John asking when we plan on recovering the trap. Previously this was part of the talks and plan, but this time he doesn't seem concerned about ever looking into the trap further. After John verbally BASHED me about the trap for what I said to Tim Miller about the sand body-form and that I believed her skirt was under the sand, John pretty much committed himself to the belief the trap wasn't what we were after. This shocked me because it was exactly what we were looking for- a fish trap lost at sea with human remains.

Exactly! And when they couldn't find a Holiday, they picked a hurricane. You're right on target with this one, San. It seems they do this when they are about to do something that flies in the face of common sense, hoping it will go unnoticed in light of the Holiday.

I'm going to hope that this time, they're hoping the identification of Natalee is something they'd like to downplay. I'm choosing to ignore that each time before, it was bad news!

What was the motive of Hans Mos in regards to the Thanksgiving 2007 arrests of Joran, Deepak and Satish and their subsequent releases prior to the Christmas Christmas Holidays.

The November, 2007 Arrests of Joran, Deepak and Satish

Holloway Attorney: 'Extraordinarily Painful'
Tuesday, December 04, 2007

JOHN Q. KELLY, HOLLOWAY ATTORNEY: Well, in their press release and even in conversations. I had a long discussion with him (Hans Mo) Thanksgiving morning after the arrests, and you know, he indicated that they were very confident, this new evidence they had, this incriminating evidence. And it turns out, quite frankly, that it is nothing new ...

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, HOST: All right. So you can say with 100 percent certainly there's nothing new, right?

KELLY:  I can say it with 99 percent.  I think it was disappointing to me and actually extraordinarily painful and almost cruel for Beth and Dave after being down there.

They'd like to get some answers and they'd like to see some progress made.  And it's not fair to bring them down there with the false promises, with raised expectations, sort of a dog and pony show down there with no substance.

And it was — it just really took whatever spirit, almost, that Beth and Dave had left, went through that this weekend. It was really — it was terribly painful, for lack of a better expression.

It certainly makes you wonder, doesn't it? BTW, I've read a few of those quotes from that person posted in this thread. Where are they from? Are they from a book or is it something posted online somewhere? I'd really love to read more. Thanks (& sorry if it was a stupid question)

Hoping today is the day Natalee is found.  an angelic monkey

So the Friday before Thanksgiving is the most likely date we will get ID information on the jawbone?

At least that seems the most likely time to me.

I so wanted Beth to tell Joran NO!  You tell me NOW to my face what happened so I can see you and know if you are telling the truth.  Don't write to me--tell me NOW!

But I guess she knew he would just refuse anyway.  She went where his own mother would not go and he still didn't tell her!

And I heard him say something to the man  behind the desk about five minutes.  Like you said five minutes.  So the prison authorities knew well beforehand as did Joran that Beth had been granted five minutes or so.

This is awful, do we hope it is Natalee or that it isn't. I have always held out hope that she was taken somewhere. I have been here since day 1 and will be here till the end.

I agree San,  They have the rest of her somewhere,  we now want all of her returned.....

I'm with you guys on that - if this is not enough for you and it's not enough for me can you imagine how Beth is going to feel about this?  Aruba  - You better start digging!  I don't think your Coastl Claean up is going to cut it!
