Brandi

Put your feet up and pour some Baileys and relax you have earned it...great work.

Sent you an email this PM.

Just got the email. Thanks!

I wish I drank. (I seldom do, and seldom feel like it.)

I think a Dove bar (the chocolate variety) and a little idle mind will work for me right now. LOL

Thank you, 4 Donks!
Be careful my husband almost OD'd on  Dove Chocolate.
4 Donks, my mother found this little poem.  I posted it in the Inspiritational thread, but thought you might like to see it (if you haven't already).

Just A Little Donkey
by Rita S. Beer

Just a little donkey,
but on my back I bore
The one and only Savior
the world was waiting for.

Just a little donkey,
but I was strong and proud --
I gladly carried Mary
through the chaos of the crowd.

I brought her to the stable
where she made a tiny bed . . .
A place for Baby Jesus
to lay His little head.

I pray the world remembers
that special Christmas night
when just a little donkey
carried Heaven's Precious Light.

Thank you Sister. I'll have this framed for my office wall. On this thread way back I posted a picture of Hobb's back with his cross showing and the story of how it came about. I'll see if I can find it because it is beautiful.

That's a sweet little poem Wink

Legend of the Donkey's Cross
" Bring me the colt of a donkey,"
was the Master's request.
A young donkey was brought to Jesus
to carry Him into Jerusalem.
A week later Jesus was ordered
to be crucified.
The little donkey so loved the Lord
that he wanted to help Him carry the cross.
But, alas, he was pushed away.
The sad little donkey waited to say
goodbye until nearly all had left.
As he turned to leave, the shadow of
the cross fell upon the
back and shoulders of
the little donkey.
And there it has remained,
a tribute to the loyalty
and love of the humblest of
Gods creatures.

Thank you 4Donks, can't wait to share with my Mother.  She loves this kind of poems.  At 85 she goes to the nursing home and always takes nice little things to read to the residents.

I know what you mean. I have my sisters who bought a place here in Alabama to see me through my treatment. Don't know what I'd have done without them even though we argue .

It is my prayer that Kyron be found and return home. Of course like everyone else I want him found alive but feel his parents need peace and closure. May this happen before Spring 2011.

You guys are very ambitious today with your decorating. I don't even own a Christmas decoration. The only thing I do here is collect pine cones, cover them in peanut butter, roll them in bird seed and tie them to the bare trees with red ribbon. In the spring the birds take what is left of the ribbons for their nests. I have red birds and they look very festive sitting on the branches.
My sisters decorate with 3 trees, lights outside and wreaths in every window. I get to enjoy it and don't have to take it all down and put it away.

I love that idea, plenty of pine cones I have, peanut butter, bird seed and ribbon, I'm going to do that    I don't decorate very much at all, not having little kids anymore, and having a husband and daughter that lives with us not into Christmas at all, I just do a few things for myself.

A few hints..
Bring the cones into a warm area so that they completely open ( I put them in the oven on warming setting) This way you can either use a wire or ribbon threaded through the opened cone. It also allows you to pack it with peanut butter (squirrels love that). Good luck.

If you have squirrels or birds they really love it. I have a tree outside the bedroom windows and love to look out in the morning at all the activity.
