Praying for the children.

« Reply #1540 on: December 04, 2010, 05:40:31 PM »

Please keep my(trucker) hubby in prayer. He is very ill in Homedale,ID and has made it to a clinic there. Do not know if it is flu, or spider bite(due to redness, heat on one leg) or what. I know I have never in our 30 plus years known him to be this ill.

Nana - how is hubby doing?  I have a soft spot in my heart for Truckers -- they certainly dont get the credit they deserve for doing what they do  an angelic monkey

Hoping he is on the mend and heals quickly!

I haven't caught up yet...just got home from work a bit ago. Hubby is in the shower and we are on our way to our doc to have him look at the leg. It is nasty! Redder than ketchup, swollen, hot...I am thinking I can see a bite. Pretty scary. I will let you know what we find out...please don't stop the prayers.

Leroy, that is so sweet. Not many people realize even an iota of what they go through sometimes. Thank you.

O geez, hope you get some clear direction on what will help him to feel better.
Prayers lifting from here.

Go Gamecocks!
I wouldn't mind seeing Auburn come down a peg....................
Hi Tolerance, hope you are staying warm. I just got pictures of the snow up there.
Hi, honey, please feel better.
Just rest and everything else will fall into place.  It always does.
Yes, lots of snow.............I am NOT a fan.
Hugs.
JSM I hope with a little rest you are feeling better.

Tolerance did you ever get those ice cleats for your shoes ? My sister used hers the other morning and is pleased.

I don't know anything about football so I'll just join the chorus.
I did get some....................I don't think they are for me.  The metal cleats bend when I go through the garage.
What brand did your sister buy.........maybe they are not the thing to save a few bux on..........

I always think of you when I use my steam floor cleaner!!!  I love it.  I used it today.

I'll ask her what brand she has when she comes over tomorrow.  I don't know what I'd do without my steamer.
Meanwhile be very careful going out to walk PJ.

It sure does  I'm always afraid at night sleeping that one may bite. A friend's daughter got bit during the night and had to be hospitalized. Maybe some people are more allergic than other?

Thank-you, he is doing good, glad to be back to his house and routine. We were just watching a TV show about dogs, and I told my husband and daughter about PJ and his adventure with the hat.

Kinda dark...but this pudgy pug showed up at our door! Shivering and veryfriendly! Guess we may be entertaining an angel while we look for the owner. He is so ugly cute I have tagged him "Pugli" for now!    Monkey Devil!

Hubby is resting. Turns out we cannot get him to our doc(they closed at 3 today) til Monday. We are watching and his antibiotics seem to be kicking in. If he gets worse at all I am taking him straight to ER!  I really am thinking spider, possibly a black widow. He killed one Tuesday where he sits with his laptop...very strange coincidence.... I'll keep you posted, after all, your my family!

How sweet! A furbaby visitor.

I was thinking brown recluse spider.

I got bitten one time and had a bad reaction to it.

I am glad to hear the antibiotics seem to be taking hold.

I am just catching up but prayers to you and hubs. Do not hesitate to take him in to the doc if he gets worse! Better safe than sorry is my thought.

I am keeping that awesome man of mine on a very short leash! LOL   It has been a very rare thing to "be the boss" in the last 31 years, I am going for the gold!   Oldest daughter is a liar when she says I can't be "mean"...    Monkey Devil!    watch me!

That fat little Pugli has made himself a bed on my closet floor! Cracking me up. Took him about 10 minutes to drag some clothes down(they wash) and root around and now he is snoring away!
I kind of hope we can't find the owner...I don't remember taking such an instant "love" to a dog before! I would keep him in a heartbeat! Then he goes to the vet and on a diet! Poor thing is so fat  he pants alot.

I really gotta get a pic tomorrow in more light...maybe can sneak one of BP(female Boston) in too! I am a picture posting fool since I learned this new trick!       We also have Sparky(the wuss) male Boston. Pretty sure he was abused before we got him. He has come a long way, but goes through separation anxiety when hubby leaves him home.

Geez, where did all that come from?       Better check on the leash...times for meds...

Well, a lot seems to depend on the type of spider................antibiotics seem to be the first line, but I read that your really have to watch for the reaction to venom to spread.............I saw a lot of icky pictures so I am glad you are following closely!
