I am sending prayers for all.  I am here but in much pain all over.

Northern, I miss you, sweetie!

I miss Northern, too, Bearly.  I am so sorry you are in pain.  What causes your pain?
I am doubling prayers for all.

Lots of things cause the pain.  Thanks for asking, I have found it helps to say the words and admit the pain is there, somehow it decreases its power.

It hurts more before the rain.  That is why I pulled over and stayed the night in Virginia, I was literally climbing the seat of the car.  When we were unloading the wind was starting to get heavy and the doors kept closing on me.  Soon, the TV went out and it was pouring rain.  The weirdest thing of all, that was the only night I could really get the internet on the trip.  After it rained, I felt much better.  There had been tornado warnings in the area.  The incredible pain happened before the rain and wind.

Does the heat hurt you because you do so much?  I do not like the heat, it was high 70s, low 80s.  There was lots of shade.  I did not get a sunburn and neither did my son and we burn quickly.  I avoid the direct sun because I have had the dreaded c on my skin 3 times.

What about you?

I remember as a kid my grandma could always tell it was going to rain because the arthritis pain would get worse. I grew up on Lake Michigan so the dampness was there a lot of the time. My body can't take heat, as a kid I would get a wonderful tan, now, I burn and try hard not to go in the sun much at all. I don't blame you for not going into the direct sun, after having that happen three times.  an angelic monkey When it is hot here, it gets horribly dry, my skin and hair get dry, allergies and asthma get worse, and just generally ache all over, it has a bad effect on my body, my mom was that way also. And if it is hot and sunny, takes about 10 minutes and the top of my head starts to itch, guess an allergy. Sure would be nice to find a place to live with 60 to 70 year round.  Well I'm off to go by more snowman, it already looks like a snowman convention in this house, but sure do like snowmen

Yes he has been to the house a couple times. I am happy to say this time the mom listened to what he had to say. And they are all going to family counseling. He told me he was happy they were going, each one separately and then as a family. He really is a good kid and it broke my heart that he was having problems.

I think that what you said here is really wise.  It is kind of like allowing the pain to co exist w/ you.
Accepting it more than fighting it.
While Brian was on chemo and so sick that is what he explained to me.  He said:  "You recognize the pain and then it is easier to deal w/".
Gentle hugs, Bearly.  I love your attitude and wisdom.

Well, darn.

You were in Virginia. We could have met if you were in central VA when you stopped. I remember the night we had tornado watches. It did pour for a bit that night. Sorry we missed an opportunity to meet!
