I am about to listen to Dana on the radio.

Have any of you ever made the quilted Christmas ball ornaments?
This is the instructions.
http://www.make-stuff.com/projects/quiltball.html
Here are some photos I saw on this website.
http://dustyoakornaments.com/category_89/2/Christmas-Ornaments.htm

I have a lot of these for my mom and favorite Aunt.I am gonna try and do some for myself this year. They are fun to make.I have bags full of fabric to go through.
I bet Greeneyes has done this before since she quilts.
Yes,I have lost my mind.     Hubby is giving me the look again when he sees all this coming out of the closet.
See you monkeys in the morning.

Wow those are cool Trimm. But have never made them. Maybe Northern Rose has made them.
JSM glad to see you made it in to the cage. Hope you get some rest tonight.

I bet you're right.That NorthernRose is a crafty one.

I am NOT crafty.  I am a crafty wannabe.  I have all the 'stuff' you need to be crafty.  I buy it, but then one day I finally realized you can't buy talent.
Not saying I am completely 'talentless'.  There are things I am pretty good at..............but crafts are surely NOT among them.
I marvel when I see what others can produce from all the yarn, textiles, beads, and so on that are in my plastic containers.........
I wanted to scrapbook and make my own greeting cards.  I have all the paper, vellum cut outs, special glue, stampers, envelopes, trinkets, embellishments................yada yada yada.  oh, and lots of enthusiasm.  No matter how I work at it the end product looks just like the things my sons brought home from art class in grade school........................
I admire those of you who can create!!  and I love craft shows, alas, I will never have a booth..........not even a folding table. LOL
Tol
Move over and make room for me Tol. I still have a sewing machine that is still sealed in the original box.

Scrapbooking intimidates me.....    Got a whole set of stuff in the cabinet.
I can sew a little bit,and have a fear of sewing up my fingers.  I think hubby is getting me a sewing desk for Christmas, and then what will I do?Maybe put it upstairs and run it wide open.It will sound like I am sewing up a storm.

Gross Warning:

I was a bit distracted this morning at breakfast time.

I finished my bowl of Raisin Bran before I noticed the milk was..................shall we say.............'not fresh'.
UGH  UGH  UGH

hazard of living alone, I guess.

Note to self:  Skim milk does not last till it is gone..................

Oh my...sounds like something I would do.

JSM Hope you are feeling better toady. an angelic monkey

4Donks have you figured out a why to feed Hobbs without the others getting it. The only thing I could come up with was build them each a separate stall or put feed bags on all of them. Sorry not much help.

Brandi your pictures of Zahra yesterday were beautiful.

Off to Wal Mart wish me luck

Well, I survived the day!  MIL is still p.o.ed at me but her psychiatrist says not to worry he will fix that (I am kinda thinking of giving him a list of people that he can work on next!!). Did get to have a nice talk with a very sweet but very senile man - he thought my four year old was fun to talk to!

On a sad note, my sister in law passed away a little bit ago. Even though I know it was for the best so she would no longer be suffering, I am heart broken - she was a wonderful person that left such a good footprint on the earth. I am blessed to have known her.

My condolences, theboyzmom.

Oh, honey.  I am so sorry for all of her family; with a special thought for you.
May she rest in peace and may you find comfort in that peace.
Blessings.

I made it.    Since I didn't see the lists from Babs and NRCG next time.

Okay when grand daughter and I were leaving the store there was this women about 15 feet in front of us. I heard " Dog Food why aren't you at work?"  I thought who in the world would go by the name Dog Food so I looked to see who she was talking to and some guy in a truck was pulled up in front of the store.  I kept thinking why would anyone be called Dog Food. So when we got to the car I ask granddaughter did you hear that women call the guy in the truck Dog Food.  She looked at me with WTH are you talking about. Very calmly tells me  " Gramma she was telling him she had gotten dog food." DUH I didn't hear that

Getting old is he&& sometimes

Outside the donks door to the barn I have corral sections with a single gate. The donks always walk in single file in the same order..1st Lumpy then Otis then Cappy and last one Hobbs so I called them to the barn and closed the gate locking everyone but Hobbs in the corral and barn. I went in and gave the 3 locked in donks oats and brought a bucket of oats + sweet feed out to Hobbs. That worked once but they will figure this out and I'll have to work on something else. It's embarrassing being outsmarted by donks. Monkey Devil!

I can not tell a lie - the wonderful avi is featuring My hubby and my restaurant. I am very proud of it - my hubby carried the block to build it and we have been in business for almost 26 years! I am so pleased to have it in my avi!
