This morning at sunrise the pastures looked like it had snowed the frost was so heavy. Today's high will be 44 and tonight 25. Come on down NRCG.
I see I will have problems getting Mac to go outside till it warms up. Today he came to a screeching stop at the door and did not want to go out. He tried to convince me he could hold it till spring but I didn't fall for it. This poor guy lived chained up outside without shelter for the 1st 8-9 yrs of his life and now that he has heat and a big cozy bed he likes it inside. I think when he realizes he always comes back in he will be more cooperative. Bless his soul.

Brrrrrrr 4 donks. That is cold. Poor Mac, such a sad life. I am so glad he has you to take care of him.  You are a saint. It is starting to warm up, but I still wore my parka to walk Josef this morning.

Morning Greeneyes, getting it fixed on Monday. Guy is coming out to fix it so I don't have to get it towed, plus he is a friend of a friend that won't overcharge me and is cheaper than the garage I was going to take it to. He says he will need to look at it and it could be many different things. Hopefully just a spark plug or something. He was on the phone with my friend and I for an hour trying different things to see what it could be. That is a big plus in my book that he took his time to help out to see if we could fix it over the phone.

JSM Hope your car can be fixed today.

It will be 75 and I will take it.  We are in our garage laughing, we have a field mouse in there that has to have a very high IQ    I have some old lamps wrapped up in the corner and that little guy has found a home in them, he is busy digging around in those lamps. We have two of those traps that don't hurt them, they go in with the smell of peanut butter and then you release them back in the field, well this guy is not having any part of it. He looks like a little peanut with legs but sure is sassy  He poked his head out of the plastic on top and just looked at us and if he could have he would have done this   

  Maybe you should catch him and keep him as a pet No Rose. He sounds like a cutie with a personality.

At this rate he might as well become a pet, he is so darn funny and he just comes out from behind something and stares at me, now that I know he is there I'm not as afraid, but at first I screamed so loud I'm surprised he didn't keel over from fright

How cute Brandi, I think it is a female and unfortunately the way she is making noise in that area of the garage she is building a nest. My husband wants to move the stuff and I told him wait until we know she is out so you don't accidently get bit.    That happened when we were kids and my friend got bit and had to go through those rabies shots.

Oh dear. Rabies shots back then (when we were kids) were much worse than now, too.

Excuse me for asking, but how does one determine the gender of a mouse? LOL

Morning Greeneyes, getting it fixed on Monday.   Rabies shots??? If it is a she and she is making a nest, then there are gonna be mice babies. I think your husband is right, move the stuff and wear leather gloves so he doesn't get bit.
