I just sent a mass email to all my contacts in my address book with a copy of Taco Stein's statement and the fact they never bothered to notify Natalee's family. I told them if they chose to vacation in Aruba then they support this kind of action.

Death Threats Targeting Bristol Palin, Mark Ballas

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas have received death threats and "Dancing with the Stars" has measurably heightened security ... sources connected with the show tell TMZ.

We're told the threats began to come in last week, after Bristol and Mark made the finals.  Execs on the show told Mark to stop tweeting because it was inciting people.  Mark complied.

Sources connected with the show tell us extra security will be on hand tonight for the show.  And, if Bristol and Mark head to New York, execs are talking about breaking format and not doing their interview outside in Times Square -- but rather in the studio, where it's more secure.

TMZ broke the story ... a staffer on the show opened a "fan letter" to Bristol on Friday and white powder fell out.  Turns out it was talcum powder, but the FBI is investigating nonetheless.

As one source said, "Everyone is genuinely worried.  This is a dance competition, and it's just gotten crazy."     You think it has gotten crazy, just wait if that no talent Bristol wins over Jennifer tonight

I heard about the talcum powder.It is rediculous.
Now we know she isn't that talented,but please could all these idiots stop the madness for 5 minutes?

Brian had to take his prosthetic arm off one time before a flight to SF.  They looked down it and ran that explosive detection stuff all over inside and out.
Same flight:   delayed for 2 1/2 hrs waiting for a  new crew as the scheduled pilot was drunk when he showed up.

I was flying from Birmingham to Tampa for New Years Before I started Chemo. I asked them to be careful with the pat down because I had just had 3 surgeries on 1 breast and 1 on the other. They took me to an office and made me strip to the waist before they would allow me to board. It was embarrassing.

Dear God, I'm sure you were embarrassed, that was so unnecessary to do that on you    I'm very modest, and I have to say that I wouldn't know what to do, but guess that in order to fly they would have to do that 

My fear was that they would take the dressings off and I wouldn't be able to put them back on again. They didn't do that so I guess I was lucky. The thing was that I still wasn't comfortable with the way I looked and it really upset me.

I don't even know what to say.
How could anyone be this insensitive?
Surely someone    somewhere     is authorized to use some common sense?

The one thing that bothers me with that dancing show is that it is unfair. How can you put young and elderly dancers together? Or people that have never danced and professional dancers? Maybe they could arrange the show where it is a little more fair. Bristol is a nice looking girl, she just can't dance and it isn't right going up against Jennifer who is a professional dancer. So if Jennifer doesn't win tonight, look out

Scarlet fever is a rash illness caused by a bacterium called Group A Streptococcus (GAS)

The disease most commonly occurs with GAS pharyngitis (“strep throat”) Scarlet fever can occur at any age, but it is most frequent among school-aged children.

Symptoms usually start 1 to 5 days after exposure and include:

    * Sandpaper-like rash, most often on the neck, chest, elbows, and on inner surfaces of the thighs
    * High fever
    * Sore throat
    * Red tongue
    * Tender and swollen neck glands
    * Sometimes nausea and vomiting

Scarlet fever is usually spread from person to person by direct contact

The strep bacterium is found in the nose and/or throat of persons with strep throat, and can be spread to the next person through the air with sneezing or coughing.

People with scarlet fever can spread the disease to others until 24 hours after treatment.

Treatment of scarlet fever is important

Persons with scarlet fever can be treated with antibiotics. Treatment is important to prevent serious complications such as rheumatic fever and kidney disease. Infected children should be excluded from child care or school until 24 hours after starting treatment.

Scarlet fever and strep throat can be prevented

    * Cover the mouth when coughing or sneezing.
    * Wash hands after wiping or blowing nose, coughing, and sneezing.
    * Wash hands before preparing food.
    * See your doctor if you or your child have symptoms of scarlet fever.

Seems like we are seeing diseases from the past that have almost been eradicated coming back a lot now.

Like whooping cough and scarlet fever.

Thank you Brandi that was so thoughtful.  He is the youngest and will always be my baby.  I have checked his sides and armpits for a rash and nothing yet thank goodness.  It was so cold outside this morning, with the wind it was -38 and without it was still -30.  (I want that room! lol)

Thank you!  It is oldest that really could us the prayers.  Middle son is doing really well actually and back to work on light duties.

Please don't take this the wrong way as I understand but this made me laugh.  Usually the flu is bad but when you hope you have the flu it is funny.  I have been thinking the same thing but seeing it written really made me laugh
