Bearly  You are a wonderful Momma  Cubs pizza party will be wonderful no matter how many attend. For the simple reason he planned it all him self. That is a big step for you both. Relax and enjoy. Believe me there will be lots of Monkeys there in spirit.

JSM Hows Josef doing? Wow skating at Wrigley Field how cool is that. You will have Mr. CC to keep you warm   I have a Dickens outfit I made years ago you could use. With the cape, hat and hand muff.  We could get CC a top hat so you can skate in style of the season

Good morning, hope Josef is doing good this morning 

No Rose, he seems to be doing much better than he was the other night. He ate two bowls of food last night. Hasn't eaten at the house since Friday night.  What are your plans for the day? Don't over work yourself. Hope your dad is doing fine and staying warm.

I did and he loved it, but he still goes to the bird feeder and eats    I can entertain him with pine cone treats and peanuts but he always comes back to the bird food.

Our office party has been outsourced to India.

Thia AM  I lined up the big guys and signaled them to a down and stay then let Fancy at them. She kissed them all over their faces and checked them all over and when she was done and calmed down signaled a release for the others. It seemed to work. I think the problem was that she is so small and fast and is between their feet and running under them that they freaked out. Now they realize she is another Furbs and it has settled down. I noticed that when she gets wild they now just down and stay on their own...no fun for Fancy so she calms down.

4 donks you amaze me. Can you come and train Josef not to hate other dogs, especially his new sister Ruby. 

Generally a male dog will accept a female and let them get away with murder. Between now and Ruby moving in teach Joe down and stay. If he knows nothing else this is the ultimate control. If he gets away from you and doesn't answer to the "come" command a down and stay allows you to walk up and put a lead on him and can save his life if there is traffic. They can't attack from this position so other animals are not in danger. I use chicken hot dogs cut into little pieces and keep training sessions short always ending on a success. My dogs are trained to hand signals as well as voice. There is no way I could physically control a dog that outweighs me so training is really important. Remember all my guys were adult or senior when rescued and never had any training so it can be done. Patients and treats work for mine..when they get it the treats are only given occasionally and I substitute praise for the treats.  Joe is smart and remember you are his leader so you can do it.

  You make it sound so easy 4 donks. Josef HATES any other creature on 4 legs, I pray he accepts Ruby, but he will either be muzzled and on his choke chain if they ever meet until they get used to each other. I hope and pray they will. Thanks for the advice!!

That sounds beautiful the Dickens outfit. Would so love to see CC skate in a top hat.

4Donks my youngest just sent his fur baby to doggie boot camp to teach him those things. I was amazed at the cost.    So he wouldn't be aggressive with his new girl friends dogs.

My day is going well until someone told me they aren't coming into work and is off next week too.  Other than that, everything is happy, but cold.
