Hello all...

just thought I would drop in... Red finally got me on, My e-mail was lost in the wonder maze of digital missing files... so, an American greeting you from the Philippines...

Some of you might remember me from the old, old Riehlworld days as "DreamQuestRob"...  Laughing

Thank you, thank you....

Oh, and one thought here that I have had since the beginning...

FWIW -- Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction... and sometimes fiction makes for interesting truths ...

The movie, "Eyes Wide Shut" has a backdoor hidden plot about a very elite "social" club -- The recent revelations about Paulus and the lies, including the casino footage, the tapped phones, etc... really made me think about the Tom Cruise movie and the secret club he infiltrated...

Yes, we've often discussed the possibility of a "secret club" of "elders".  Elders being PVDS, Oduber, Van Der Straaten..those in the government etc.

I noticed at BFN there is discussion again about the computer records.  I took a couple new screen shots of the documents that may be easier to read and put them in their own thread.  They blow the margin and I didn't want to post in the LCD thread:

ALso, my digital camera has a delay on it...when I snap the picture it doesn't get the picture I want most of the time (mainly because my daughter won't stay still). Is this something that can be adjusted, ya think?

I don't know what kind of camera you have but most "point and shoot" digital camera's have the dreaded Shutter Delay or Shutter Lag.  Can't get around that.  Newer 'point and shoot' digitals boast faster shutter response but bottom line is if you want NO shutter lag you have to go to an SLR digital camera.
It's the dirty little secret pocket digital cameras don't mention, you learn it the hard way.
I got so frustrated with the same kind of stuff you're referring to, I finally broke down and bought a Nikon D70. I'm a happy camper now.

I am getting late tonight after a heavy travel schedule and haven't read back yet.  Any tip as to what the subject matter or topic is of this "Big news"?

Have I missed something over the last week?

Nothing that I know of, I was just responding to Robots post.  I think there is a hearing tomorrow about one of the Kalpoe cases but I'm not expecting anything earthshattering.  An extension most likely.

Since Klass outed me.....Here I am!!!!

I have been sitting here for a couple of hours all nervous, excited, and giddy about finally joining the Monkeys.  But I didn't know what to say!

Thanks Klass for giving me an opening.   Cool

I hope I am not nekky.  I have seen you guys explain how to do the avatars a million times.  Let's see if I remembered.

Better sign me up for that class.  I have had a horrible month at work with a particular person getting under my skin and in my way with every step.  Makes me sick when she walks within 50 yards of me.  It is like an allergic reaction to my nervous system.  Not kidding.

Good news about Nat would have been welcome right now.
