ORANGE CITY - The Central Bank of Aruba (CBA) has this week figures for the second quarter, and last month announced new estimates of the Aruban economy. The second quarter of this year showed no significant recovery, but the figures for September and forecasts for the end of this year and next year are positive.

Thus, the monthly report for September that the number of stay-over visitors rose by 6 percent 

There was a lull in tourist for a few reasons. One being the economy, also terrorism and more companies have installed technology to all foreign communication face to face and many people had babies in the past few years keeping them at home. Further, pleasure travel now goes to destinations that are geared for a package rather then just a hotel, booze and beach that Aruba offers. Drinking has become unfashionable among those who are seasoned. And casino competition is in a flooded market. All that said, Walt was way ahead of his time.

Seems that old Aruban misers are just sitting back and watching their little island go to shiiit. They don't care, they have mansions in hidden places where they can escape. The Caribbean dries up and then regrows, natures way and perfectly normal. Just look at Haiti. They had tourism back in the day. You can usually count the tourism industry in James Bond films. Their locations are usually the hotspots.

As for the Natalee boycott... and name calling on this forum... it's immature.

So I guess in jjinthemorning's opinion, it's not okay for me to agree with others that Glenda/Julia Renho is a lying drunk and leather face because it's "immature"?, but it's okay for jj to call Tim Miller a media whore? (and more)  People in glass houses and all that...
