Was the recent news about the insider investigation just a show for public consumption?

Why didn't they knock on the door at the Fed and demand records?

Demand to review records for the past 75 plus years?

Let the American people know where is money is going?  Who's using it?  Who's getting the best deals at taxpayer expense?

How could anyone in Congress or the White House not want to know what's been going on behind those walls of secrets?

Maybe they investigators got lost and need a flashlight?  LED high beem?

Knock on the doors of our 'financial system' and demand records to show why the losses went unnoticed for years?

Where did they get the money to bankroll their losing businesses for so many years?

America didn't default on all those mortgages overnight.  From memory, the default tsunami went back over 15 years. 

How could all that bad business go unnoticed?
