Unbelievable how much of her remains are still missing. I think that there would be a much clearer picture if they were recovered. Why would EB not tell them where ALL of the remains were if she knew??? I think that AB is the missing link to their locations!

We're one step closer to justice, but until both of them are convicted, it hasn't been fully served.

I wonder if Zahra's skull (such a hard time typing that...) is still missing because it would leave no doubt that this child brutally murdered, quite possibly by a fatal blow to the head. If I were LE I would dangle the DP over Elesa's headf in return for the rest of this child. The 2nd degree murder charge doesn't bother me so much. I'm just glad there have been charges brought and I bet the case is air tight. Between a guilty verdict in the murder of Zahra, the bad checks, the obstruction and bigamy charges, this dark hearted beotch will be some prison butch's baby for the rest of her nasty life. She'll never get out of prison when all is said and done....JMHO

The news that second degree murder charges are being laid against the evil witch is at least a step in the right direction.  My understanding of the press conference is that they have no credible evidence at this time as to anyone else being involved with her in this murder.  I think they did mention the ongoing investigation and I am hoping there is more to be learned and that other charges can proceed against one or more other persons who I am sure were involved in, at the very least, dismemberment and disposal.  It is difficult to imagine one woman being capable of cutting up a body and then digging such a large hole in the bushland to hide part of the evidence.

What is distressing is the small amount of the remains that have been found and I think that head injuries could easily have been the cause of death hence the skull being one of the missing parts.  My earlier thoughts on the use of the wood chipper could explain the absence of the hands and smaller bones.

I am back to having thoughts of shoving the evil witch and so-called father feet first into a wood chipper.

Precious Zahra I know you are running and skipping and playing in the gardens of the Summerland.  Your star shines brightly in the southern skies.

Emily my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Has he gone back to Australia?

Not that I have seen reported anywhere.  I am sure it would make our media as he would be escorted back because of either illegal entry to the US or over staying visitor/work visas.

Tibrogargan  TY, for your assessment and opinion on the show
AB is guilty of something in zahra murder, and hes hoping he wont get caught
well i dont think the NC LE will quit looking for evidence to implicate him
did you record that on your puter too, if you did there is a way to get it out easily, and even if you recorded on
a dvd recorder, there is a way,i sure would like to see it

Has he gone back to Australia?

He's still facing charges in NC.
He's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Thanks cw.  I recorded it on the old video tape recorder so unable to copy to computer.  I did see a link to YouTube where the video has been posted and comes with the follo9wing comment :

This video is unlisted. Only those with the link can see it.

Not sure how long the video will remain accessible so maybe some smart monkey can snag it.

Yeah, it's unreal how many of her bones have not been located.
Why wouldn't that twisted beotch tell them where the skull was?
I hope Adam and his stupid mother read those reports.

At the risk of being graphic, remember when they found the burial site - there were two holes.  One was a large hole where the torso was found.  There was a second hole, about the size of a head, beside it.  There was talk at that time (rumors really) that the head was separate from the body.  I guess those rumors were true, only they neglected to say that it was separate to the point of not being there.  Now comes the graphic part.  If the head was buried separately from the torso (which might or might not have been wrapped in tarp - they haven't said yet that I know, but again there was a rumor) then it would be easier for scavenger animals to pick up and take away.

I viewed the TV interview on 60 minutes with Adam Baker and I was incensed at his attitude. Having to suffer his snuffling and mumbling, long pauses while looking at the floor together with a range of facial gestures such as trying to suppress smiles and making grimaces it was very difficult to concentrate on his answers.  When I replayed the tape I also made of the interview I found his answers were noncommittal as usual and his only interest seemed to be how it all had affected him.  He did admit it was a mistake on his part for bringing the evil witch into the picture and that Zahra would most likely still be alive had this not happened.  Most of the interview he spent looking at the floor while Liz Hayes asked the questions.  He condescended to look at her when he answered but then straight back to studying the floor.  He could not answer as to when he last saw his daughter and whether that is because he has been warned not to disclose that, or he has run out of days of the week to guess at I am not sure.  He did mumble something about impeding the ongoing investigation.

His closing remarks that he wanted to bring Zahra back to Australia and to put pieces of his life together again here nearly brought me undone.  I had to leave the room otherwise I would have pulverised the TV set.

It is also an interesting exercise to watch his facial expressions without the sound.

I do hope that no one thinks Adam is a typical Aussie male.  He is far from that and although visitors joke about our laid back “she’ll be right, mate” attitude our menfolk are for the most part decent, caring and strong with definite family values and protective of their children.  Those men who fail to nurture and protect their children are mostly ostracised by their peers.  Adam is what we would call a dead loss as a father and seemingly quite content to leave his child with her long medical history in the care of his mother and then to subject her to the care of the evil witch. His lack of knowledge as to all that happened to Zahra  since they moved to US points to his either being totally drugged out of his mind most of the time or simply not caring where she was or what happened to her.

I had better not go into my thoughts on the comments made by Ma Baker but I do want to add to her statement that anyone that watched Zahra go through two bouts of cancer as Adam did would not kill and dismember the child.  Well Ma Baker, anyone that watched Zahra suffer through all those medical procedures would also not allow anyone else to harm their child or totally ignore all the signs and official complaints that were there for years that Zahra was not getting the attention and love she deserved.  Go play your violin elsewhere as your protestations do not work with me.

I really appreciate your post.  We'll make a deal with you - if you promise not to think that all women are like that stepmonster, we'll promise not to think all Aussie guys are like Adam.  Deal?  The whole thing makes me incredibly sick, and I had taken that there was still a head for granted.  I'm not able to deal with that bit of information, and it's really ripping me apart.

I mean - the one and only one thing that gave me peace is that they found her main body - torso and head, or so I thought.  I know she's way past any body - and everything she had, including her missing leg, are all back and 100% perfect.  But it's really bothering me.

That and the fact that when it is SO absolutely obvious that no one could section a little girl in a house, leave the sort of mess that allowed for collection of the type of evidence they did, despite the huge box of baking soda and newly painted walls - no one could do that in a 24 hour period and clean up everything that was used/touched on their own, one person, with someone else living in the house.

The autopsy papers don't seem to dispute a possible death date of September 25 or so, versus the October date.

On NG one of her guests (ADr.) is saying that the bones should be sent to a forensic anthropologist because from what he can see, it looks as if the wounds were ante-mortum, not post, and that Zahra was stabbed to the bone multiple times.
This is too sick to even put into words.

I CANNOT accept this on so many levels.....I hate to think or say these things, but that house had to have smelled.  I am so sorry, but those are the facts.  They took everything apart, I cannot believe they didn't find things there.  He had to have known.  There is no way on this earth he did not.  The Forensics guy on NG says that she was cut or bludgeoned because the marks on her bones were not from being dismembered.  Hopefully a monkey smarter than me can bring over the link for that.  How could this go on in a home, not to mention the mattress that was removed and he not know.

Also, with so many bones missing, it seems to me that there should be more of a hunt to find the rest, especially with a nearby hole that may have held nothing.

Justice has to come for this sweet girl.....

I have many close friends whom I met here at SM and I have great respect for American women.  The stepmonster is an aberration of humanity.

Well I certainly hope that they do that - they have to do that, really.  At this point, they don't have any thing else.

It is horrible, Curly.  I find that it is easier for me to try to forget all the emotions that are just carrying me away right now by focusing on analytical things.  Then I let myself abdorb it a tiny piece at a time so it doesn't just collapse me.  And as weird as it sounds, the hope that maybe they can still find a way to have Zahra's remains tell us what happened to her - well that braces me.  I'm feeling a bit like a boat that got swept away to sea right now with this, as I just found this out.  Thanks for throwing this rope. /hugs
