How many of the global elite have money salted away in Switzerland?  How many move moved fortunes to Switzerland to avoid taxation in the 'nominal' countries of origin?  Countries in which they do business?

I find it amusing that some wealthy folks in America think the rich should pay more...

While in Switzerland, the rich lobbied against a nominal tax...

Also Sunday, voters rejected a proposal to revise the country's tax system.

Swiss news agency SDA reported that 58 percent of voters opposed the plan, while 42 percent backed the proposal by the Social Democrat party to introduce a minimum tax across all Switzerland's 26 cantons, or states.

Polling group gfs.bern said earlier this month that initial enthusiasm for the plan evaporated after heavy campaigning by business groups, who warned it could harm the Swiss economy.

Several prominent billionaires also spoke out against the proposal and threatened to move abroad if it was accepted.

Why are broad taxes good for a failing America?  And bad for a prosperous nation like Switzerland?

Super rich in Switzerland could lose tax breaks under 'socialist' proposals

Swiss to vote on plan which would see ultra wealthy residents like Tina Turner and Lewis Hamilton pay more tax on income

Quote
They include the singer Tina Turner, supermodel Karolina Kurkova and more recently the new Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel, who, as well as very low tax rates, typically enjoy high-end lifestyles in lakeside villas with spectacular mountain views and guaranteed privacy.

Under SP's "tax initiative", incomes of 250,000 Swiss francs (£159,000) would incur minimum levies of 22% while assets of more than two million francs (£1.27m) would be liable to 0.5%. If passed, the rule would apply to cantons across the country. At stake for cantons such as Schwyz, Zug and Obwalden are their special statuses as tax oases that cosset the rich like hardly any other nation.

How many global bankers live in Switzerland?  Global business people?

Quote
If the initiative is passed, Roger Federer, the tennis star and Swiss native who resides in the tax-friendly town of Wollerau in Schwyz, can expect the value of his luxury villa to fall by as much as 27%.

As taxes rise in the US, due to Obama, how much less will your home be worth?

Oops!!!  Pesky de-inflation...time for Ben to print mo money.  Obamacash, mebe another 2 trillion?  Is it a downward spiral?

Pretend to keep housing values high by printing money, while your currency collapses?

If your currency becomes worthless, say today 1 US Dollar = 1 Euro, and tomorrow 1 Euro = 100 US Dollars, what does that do to the value of your home?

Forcing Americans off their land?  Out of their country?  Much like the elite of Britain did hundreds of years ago?  Due to advances in technology, they didn't need peasants to till the soil, they had machines.  They couldn't expell the peasants who had a right to stay on the land, but they could destroy their homes?  Force them to leave?

In America, the elite destroy the dollar, so the peasants have no money for food, no jobs, no ability to support themselves and their families?  Where will Americans go?  Urban ghettos?  Courtesy of Obama & his friends?

And then, we have the tax havens in the Caribbean.  How many Americans have accounts on those islands?  All those secret Dutch banking laws protecting them?

How many globalists have money salted away, out of reach of any tax man?
