It is really coming down now and they expect at least 4 more hours then starts again tomorrow with a wrap around from the front that is going through. I won't drive up the mountain to my sisters for dinner....I will dine on rum balls.

My sister and her husband are idiots.They thought I did not know what I was talking about.I am like....turn on your weather radio....stupid.Oh yeas,I called her the s word.My Mom is canceling dinner.She plans to give food that is already prepared to neighbors.Not my cake.    My Daddy drew the line there.

You guys stay safe and warm. Since I took the pictures this morning I have at least another inch on the ground and cannot see the barn from the house. It is a white out and they just announced to keep away from 278 at Mountain Top due to road conditions. That's how I get to my sisters' place. Wish I could send you some rum balls.

I have 4 inches on the ground and it is still snowing but not as bad as earlier. We are not suppose to get above freezing till the middle of the week...no snow removal, sand or salt for our roads.
I bundled up and went out with Jazz and Beela and made snowballs for them to chase. They are soaking wet rolling in the snow and playing...what a mess.

                                    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL   

We are off to GE's for our Christmas bash!  We both made a small turkey so my house will smell like I cooked.   

Should be fun  being around kids again, been a while since we've moved out here and don't have the Grand Niece & Nephews to watch the antics and toys being ripped apart!

JSM, I'm making the Green bean casserole, we WEST COASTERS have never had it, but figured it seems to be such a mainstay here in Texas we'd get brave and try it.....Afraid to ask what other southern dishes we may need to try!   

One thing we won't eat here is your Tex-mex dishes, someone has to bring this place up to speed, ya'll don't know what "REAL" Mexican cooking is all about, can't just pour hot sauce on everything and pretend!
