4Donks Just saw the weather and they said you guys were still getting snow.  Fancy sounds like she is having a wonderful time.

JSM so glad you got Josef to the vet. They have him on meds.

When I grew up in Cincinnati , where it snowed quite a bit, church services were never cancelled. On snowy days, we still had services, just some people could/would not attend, so there would be fewer people there. But it was never cancelled.

I think we have become a bit wimpy, personally.

 

I sure don't remember cancellation of church when we had blizzards growing up, I think we have become rather wimpy also.  Thank-you for the new avatar    I explained in your thread why I chose purple

JSM: Glad to hear that Josef was acting fine shortly after his discomfort! Hopefully he will be just fine.

He is nervous poor baby. I have a feeling his stomach problems are due to stress and being nervous. People have that happen, I know that for a fact  Zoe had that terrible also.

I spoke with my son Christmas eve and they have had 20 inches of rain in the last 7 days. The one and off ramps on the freeway bye his house have been washed out.

OMG, just awful, the canyons by the house did not do well either. On Wed last week, it took my daughter so long to get too work, and then the phones and computers didn't work from the rain, and they didn't send anyone home  I sure hope nothing like that happens that severe again. Like rain, but this was crazy.

I think the storms we had Saturday effected his nervousness and his tummy is still stressed out. He is eating out of my hand right now so maybe that is a good sign.

Ya he had to take back roads for about 4 miles to get to the freeway to even get on the road to go to work.

That's awful, my daughter's one friend at work, had to take different roads to get home in Anaheim, from Laguna Nigel, it took her forever  Street lights were out around here as well, it's bad enough with driving here, but driving here and rain like that is a whole other issue.

We have no rain here but we did have yucky roads to drive home from Ann Arbor last night. LOOONNNGG drive when it is slick! 

Then I got ready to embroider the kid's names on sweatshirts my mom got all the grandkids for xmas - and I can not find 1/2 my hoop. I can not work without it. I have torn the house apart! Either it is hiding laughing at me or it went out in the trash after falling in to the pile of wrapping paper when I was doing gift wrapping. Either way I am not a happy camper. Perhaps some nice chocolate will help?
