hoping that everyone has a blessed and Merry Christmas...
We had our Christmas gift exchange with the grand daughters today..such fun..10 months, 2, 4 and 7! what a joy..little ones really make the holidays worth all the work and busy times..they are so thankful to "Santa" for everything which is soooo sweet! my oldest grand daughter wrote a letter to Santa asking him to come into her room when he gets to her house so that she can see that he is real..Kids have been telling her that Santa is not real! pisses me off...I told her that Grams believes in Santa and that I will never stop believing in Santa..that was good enough for her!
Tomorrow for Christmas we are going to their house so that will be fun to see what all Santa brought for them..so exciting! love it!  Our other 4 grand kids live in Texas...they have our thoughts and love on the holiday since we can't see them...

Hope that everyone's family is doing ok...

My Doctor is from N. Carolina and her Mom always said, "If you don't believe, you don't receive."  She still tells her Mom she believes!

I always told  my son it was from the spirit of Santa through the child's parent(s).  I remember how devastated I was when I found out.  I asked my Mom, "Is God real?", linking them together and being really upset for awhile, so I did not do that to my son.  So when his Therapist asked him something this year, she thought he still believed, she asked me if he still believed and she told me he said Santa brings presents to kids and adults, although he has always known the truth.

Merry Christmas to everyone, stay safe, enjoy all the good foods and family.  an angelic monkey  I'm going to go now and play with my new roomba vacuum, and want to see if it really does know not to fall down the stairs
Merry Christmas No Rose, prayers for you, your family, Buddy and Allan is especially in my prayers today  an angelic monkey
Thank-you, hope Josef and all your family are doing well   an angelic monkey  Alan doesn't even talk about Christmas with my daughter, I asked her several times to ask him what they do over there for Christmas, and for some reason won't answer. Thank-you for prayers for him, I think he really needs it, every time he goes to the hospital there he keeps seeing things he says he will never forget

No Rose, you are all in my prayers.

My mom's explanation when we questioned Santa still makes sense to me. She said that God gave us the greatest present...His Son and that Santa represents the spirit of giving at this season to remind us of this great gift. That Santa is about giving not receiving as God gave us Jesus. Noting it is better to give than to receive. She reminded us that there were lots of "pictures of Christ but they weren't really Him just as there are a lot of Santas around and they just represent the spirit of giving That we can't see God but we still know He is real..same with the giving of special gifts that Santa represents.

Morning Monkeys, hope all is well.  I think I'm gonna puke...

WASHINGTON — For the third straight year, President Obama ranks as the man most admired by people living in the U.S.

The annual USA Today-Gallup poll, released Monday, finds that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is the most admired woman for the ninth year in a row. Clinton edges out former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and TV host Oprah Winfrey, as she did last year.

Obama has been the poll’s most admired man since his election in 2008. Hillary Clinton has been the most admired woman 15 times since 1992. AP
