OOps! forgot to mention Crazybabyborg gave me the original kitty also then she put the heart around it for Valentines day. Then she made me one for St. Pats but it was so busy I never changed and then she was in the accident so I did not want to bother her to see if she could make it quit blinking so much. And I do not mind if I just have the heart. LOL

I had noted the use of the word "color", though took no offense to it. As I am not Aruban, nor speak Pap, I have no idea how one's skin is appropriately addressed there. Nadira referred to her sons as black. In the US that is a misnomer. Also, in the US, I've heard many elderly folks refer to black people as "colored". And have done so with my biracial child standing next to me. They mean no offense by it. They are simply speaking from their generation. "Bryan Hamacker [of] Birmingham Alabaam" (who cannot spell the state from which he claims to hail), can blow it out of his nose and eat a bug.

There are 2 or 3 people of Bryan Hammacher's ilk who regularly post on the op-ed page of the Birmingham News. Tylergal had a run-in with a guy one time whose name I remembered as one of the Southside stalwarts who regularly post hate-filled ultra-leftist trash.

Southside is a section of Bham (actually just on the other side of the mountain from Mountain Brook) where the 60's never left. A Che Guevara poster would be better appreciated there than a Hope For Natalee bracelet.
