If that shortcut went to the forum's old settings, it could be. I know I had to get rid of my old bookmark.

Thanks for the tip, Elaine.  I had problems yesterday and cleaned out everything in Firefox but did not think to change the bookmark in "Favourites".  So far, so good today but if I have any more problems I will re-bookmark the site.  I do not have a shortcut on my desktop - I just select Firefox on the start menu and click on SM on the drop down bookmark list.
