Strange sounds were coming out of my daughter's room today when I walked by.  Look what I found     They were born 11 days ago   


Her Gerbils had babies.  What makes this even funnier is that the parents  were supposed to be two girls, sisters from the same litter.  Guess the pet store had no clue what a boy and girl gerbil looks like.

8 of them.  Already contacted the pet store and they will take them when they are 6 weeks old. Only thing is that after she was finished giving birth guess how she probably celebrated?  Yup, she is more than likely already prego again

Whew!  I'd find them all homes before they begin to mate with one another.

I was reading and I guess they are illegal to sell in California but I think they are cute

Thanks all, she is just so photogenic!

LEP - she has sort of dark blonde hair but it's getting lighter as she gets older.

Maybe you should consider a sideline business. You could be a pet store supplier and your Mamma and Pappa Gerbils could live in perpetual Bliss!!

They were out here a couple weeks ago, stayed with us    We'll be visiting them on her 1st birthday in September.

A 1st b'day is special, but a Grandchild's 1st b'day is VERY special.

Our Granddaughter who lives about 2 miles from us will be 14 next week.
Same old routine for 7/19, break the bank and throw a party !
