She did pretty well! I agree......... it does take courage. My heart always goes out to the dancers that are, well........ that have less than a perfect body. That would make it so much harder in front of the whole world to see and make fun of, IMO.

Dancing with the Stars is the only show i wait for....I am a critic.   For night one,  I liked Nancy.   I do not like her show and thought I would hate her tonight...nope, I hope she stays.     

Two 5's and a 6...that is good for night one.

Nancy did pretty well..
CBB... I agree that it is harder when you are a bit heavier..but she will probably slim down and will be really happy with herself afterwards..just look at Kirstie Alley...she looks wonderful now.. has lost 100 lbs..

David Arquette was really nervous..rushed the dance ..but he did pretty well..I think that he will do well if he relaxes a bit..

She looks GREAT, Cookie!! Marie Osmond does too!

I think David Arquette has real potential.

I thought David was pure class on the dance floor and I hope he stays awhile...

Okay, David and Nancy are my two so far..

One thing about the bigger girls, they don't get the prettier outfits...but, as this goes on we shall see.

I soooo agree with the outfit observation, Terri! They don't always get even flattering ones! IMO, NG would have looked much better had she not been in sleeveless and wearing a length a little longer.

I am having a running "conversation" on Face Book...that is the first time I have ever done anything like that.   It's just that DWS is my favorite show and I love watching people grow right before our eyes. 

Isn't it sweet she has the twins in the audience?   I bet NG is nothing like her TV persona...
