How many tax returns are filed with 'unregistered' Social Security numbers?

Unregistered meaning fraud, made up, dead original user?

Why isn't there some kind of check and balance that prevents refunds for 'unregistered' numbers?

I wonder how many phony unregistered numbers report income each year, and then get massive refunds?  Child credits?

There are a lot of folks that pay next to nothing and get lots of credits.  Earned income, housing...

How many unregistered/fraud numbers get refunds?

It seems like the IRS should be going after the fraudsters rather than folks who don't want Obamacare.

When I read stories about folks getting bigger tax refunds then they contributed, about unregistered Social Security numbers...

I wonder how many are scamming the government?  How many set up bogus numbers, and get real money back?

How much does the government lose every year?

Were 'no match' too successful at keeping out illegal aliens?

Where is there anything to prevent bogus Social Security numbers from getting refunds?

Cheats?
