ORLANDO, Fla. -- A hearing has been set in the case against Casey Anthony at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Orange County Courthouse.
The focus of the hearing will be photographs of the area where Caylee Anthony's body was found that were supposedly taken by a search volunteer three months before the toddler's body was discovered.

Anthony's attorneys want Judge Belvin Perry to issue a subpeona to give them access to the photos, which could potentially support the defenses' argument that someone other than Anthony placed Caylee's body there after the area was searched.

The volunteer who is believed to have taken the photos, Joe Jordan, told investigators early in the case that Caylee's body was not in the woods, but he later recanted and said the area was too flooded for him to get to the spot where the body was eventually found.

Jordan's attorney has filed papers with the court seeking to block Anthony's attorney's from getting the photos. Jordan claims the defense has no evidence that the photos, which were posted on at least two crime blogs, were even taken by him.

Anthony has waived her right to appear at Wednesday's hearing. WESH.com will provide a livestream from the courthouse.

I didn't think she had the right to waive her appearance. Wasn't she brought to court one day by the judge's orders after she said she wouldn't be there? I wonder what makes this time differenct.

It was my understanding that the only time she could refuse to be present is at 'Status Update hearings'. So why is it her right not to attend? Good question Fanny.
