Just realized how similar in concept 'the Hustler' is to the Steve McQueen movie 'the Cincinnati Kid' with Edward G. Robinson.

I caught a Paul Newman film last night/this morning that I wasn't even aware of.

'What a way to go' was on AMC and was pretty cute with an ensemble of stars.

Owl is right... it's Legally Blonde!

I wish they would show the original 12 Angry Men... I love that movie.. or The Verdict with Paul Newman...  I would love to see one of those this weekend...

yes, 12 Angry Men with Fonda was great.  The stage play is coming to town and we have tickets.   Richard Thomas will star.

Hey Carnut....
I went to a classic car show today that is held in Parsippany NJ every year.

All cars were 1973 or older...

Some real beauties I saw...

They usually have about 2000 cars at this particular show but I think the bad weather kept alot of people away...

The tale was inspired and loosely based on a real-life incident over the Fourth of July weekend in 1947 in Hollister, California, (publicized in an issue of Harper's Magazine in a January 1951 article titled "The Cyclists' Raid" by Frank Rooney), when about four thousand people, composed of motorcyclists and other visitors and enthusiasts, roared into the town over a two day period, and overwhelmed the facilities.
