The tale was inspired and loosely based on a real-life incident over the Fourth of July weekend in 1947 in Hollister, California, (publicized in an issue of Harper's Magazine in a January 1951 article titled "The Cyclists' Raid" by Frank Rooney), when about four thousand people, composed of motorcyclists and other visitors and enthusiasts, roared into the town over a two day period, and overwhelmed the facilities.

Oh, 'The Wild One' Marlon Brando.

I am very eclectic when it comes to music.  One of my favorite movies never made it to DVD:

try this one:

Winning an Oscar for Best Music Score and a Golden Globe for Best Picture, this biopic tells the story of Hungarian pianist

This movie is several decades old.  He composed a piece which was the background music for the Lone Ranger.  Yes, I know the trumpet solo was from the William Tell Overture.  His music was used with variations for the rest of the show.  I have not been able to nail down a score for the Battle Scene at sea in "Ben Hur" but am convinced that music is also based on that same piece.
