I think  the scene in the movie 'Cradle of Life' where Lara and partner jump off the top of a skyscaper in Hong Kong and glide out over the harbor is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a movie.

And the scariest scene I've ever seen in a movie is in Tom Hanks 'Castaway' where he's bobbing in the water and the jumbo jet engine is coming at him full tilt.

Ok, while I'm on a kick here, two more beautiful movie scenes for me are:

In the movie 'High Road To China' where the two biplanes are photographed from above as they float over a beautiful turqoise river flowing in the himalayas.

In the movie 'Empire of the Sun' where the last jap kamakazi pilots are getting ready to take off and
during the ceremony the captured british kid sings the japanese anthem, with a beautiful voice, while saluting the pilots.

Then the planes take off into the sun and get blown out of the sky.

Great Owl got the last 2 of mine; True Lies and Hocus Pocus!

OK, up to me to try San's..........

"Hello Gorgeous"  sounds like Streisand ..........

But I may be confusing it with her greeting to her husband in a concert. I'm thinking, San!

Neighborhood Watch? Is that what you call listening in on stranger's phone  conversations?

It was Fanny Brice but she said it to herself when she saw her image in the mirror.

Hint 2:  I confirmed it on the scanner. I knew something was up because Puffy used to bark like hell whenever he saw him and you know Puffy only barks at bad people.

Guess I am a little bit weird, but some movies I just like to watch only for the music, don't really even pay attention much to the action anymore.

Couple of those is 'Good, Bad, and Ugly' and 'The Warriors'.

Watching 'Gladiator' right now primarily just for the music.

I guess that is why they make soundtracks available on CD.   I do like many of the sound tracks created by Ennio Morricone

Oh yeah, that reminds me, way back when 'Grease' the movie came out, I liked it so much I went and bought a soundtrack for 'Grease'. Turns out the soundtrack was from the stage play and was quite a bit different and a whole lot 'cuter/cruder' than the movie, just a bit of a pleasant surprise.
