Then lay the complaints are treatable, but this weekend showed that the man had received internal bleeding. Medical aid was to no avail. The other source is the death of a man and suggests that dengue is based, but would not comment on the disease process.

If laboratory tests show that the deceased man was indeed due to dengue, he is the first dengue death this year and the second dengue death since the start of the rainy season. Health Department confirmed in mid-December 2010 requested that a patient was deceased with dengue symptoms were hospitalized. When the government first wanted to await results of blood tests (this research was done in the Netherlands, ed) before actually one dengue death could begin. Former Director Derek-ian Blok was told that the government only after any confirmation would determine whether the controls on the breeding grounds should be strengthened or that coping with patients to step up. Record Number of detentions carnival '

Tuesday, 08 March 2011 5:58 p.m.

ORANGE CITY - The carnival last weekend had as many as 86 arrests. 55 of them were in Orange City. It said police spokesman Papito Comenencia. He feels this number is greater than in previous years.

San Nicolas was on Saturday morning during Jouvert Morning fifteen arrests. Later that afternoon during the big parade in San Nicolas were there once in sixteen arrests. A day later in Oranjestad things were much wilder far. 55 arrests were made and a large quantity of arms was nabbed. 49 of the 55 arrests in Orange City were the result of the tit-for-tat policy of the police. "It was about public drunkenness, harassment and fights. Both men and women were arrested, mostly young people, "said Comenencia. He indicates that this year there was hardly any gang-related violence during the carnival parades.

Van der Sloot’s lawyer renews call for end to interview ban

Published on 9 March 2011 - 7:47pm

Joran van der Sloot’s lawyer has again demanded journalists be granted access to his client. Mr Máximo Altez told Radio Netherlands Worldwide he has filed a complaint against the Peruvian judiciary for violating the Dutch murder suspect’s constitutional rights.

Dutch journalists have repeatedly been refused opportunities to speak to Van der Sloot. RNW was not allowed to interview the 23-year-old from his cell despite his consent to speak with the Latin American section.

According to Mr Altez, it is very common for prisoners to talk to the press from their cells. He says the restrictions on Van der Sloot are an unjust infringement to his right to information and freedom of expression.

Since he was imprisoned at Miguel Castro Castro prison in Lima, Peru, Van der Sloot has only been interviewed by de Telegraaf newspaper.

I would rather Joran spend 30 years in a Peruvian "midnight" lockup convicted of the murder of Stephany Flores rather than an American facility convicted of extortion charges.

Somehow ... justice for Natalee and Stephany seems so elusive.

U.S. still waiting for van der Sloot
Last Update: 7:46 am

<snipped>

Although the Flores family is outraged by the prospect Stephany's death could result in such a short prison sentence, it's not like van der Sloot would have smooth sailing after serving his time.

He's still facing extradition on a U.S. indictment for wire fraud and extortion.  The FBI says he defrauded the Holloway family by accepting money for information about Natalee's fate but never delivering the promised information.

A Justice Department spokesperson here in Birmingham says the U.S. Attorney's office is keeping a close eye on van der Sloot's Peruvian legal maneuvers and are waiting their turn.

Peggy Sanford responded by e-mail to CBS42:  “This office has always had the intention of pursuing its case against Joran van der Sloot. If the reported plea proposal were to be accepted in Peru, then we might have that opportunity sooner, rather than later.”

Lawyer: Van der Sloot to plead temporary insanity
Published March 07, 2011

<snipped>

An attorney for Holloway’s mother, Beth Twitty, said she considered the planned plea “outrageous.” Twitty knows the Flores family will never accept it and she plans to “make whatever noise she has to” to make sure it doesn’t happen, the lawyer, John Kelly, added.

Could it be that the "powers that be" in Aruba/Holland have made a request to Peruvian "powers that be" not to allow Joran to be interviewed?  It appears that every time this guy opens his mouth somebody who was involved in the Aruban cover up is implicated ... the Aruban cover up that has prevented justice from prevailing for Natalee Holloway for almost six years.

They may not be related, but Keisha Jermin's disappearance reminds me of the young girl Isabela Bennett a few months ago that was missing for days and then found wandering along the road.

After she was returned nothing much was said about it, but I do believe she was taken and kept somewhere for several days.  If I understood from the articles at the time, I don't think she could remember much of what happened during that time.

Makes me wonder what's going on...and I don't like what I'm thinking may be happening.  I hope I'm wrong.
