Has anyone seen this site before?

Disciplined Teachers Results

What I found odd was, it was updated on Wednesday, July 07, 2010, 8:08 PM, and Skyline is NOT on the list of schools in Oregon. Why is that?

If you are speaking of the drop down selector at the bottom of the page, it appears that only schools with disciplined teachers are listed. It is most certainly not a list of all of the schools in Oregon state.

I think you may be right nicu, but I'm going to check further. You know me, I just have to make sure and you usually set me straight. I just can't imagine how nobody in the history of Skyline has ever been reprimanded. It's an old school. Doesn't hurt to check.

My guess is that Skyline is not on the list because no teacher from Skyline has been disciplined.   I don't believe that is a full list of schools in Oregon, only a list with teachers that have been disciplined.

For all you sleuthers, this is a good site for finding referencing information in Oregon. You can find just about anything.

I like things in one place for searching.

Yeah, the more I look at it, I agree. It also isn't updated. It only goes to 2008. Thanks.

I was listening to one of my favorite songs the other day, Godspeed by the Dixie Chicks.  And it really made me think of little Kyron and all the wonder that little boys and girls of that age still have for simple things in the world, including little frogs.  And all the wonder and innocence that they should still be experiencing.

For some reason "fish bite moonbeams every night" chokes me up every.single.time., and I partially blame Brandi (wink wink poke) because I always picture Kyron beside a pond, with a grinning frog, and now fish biting moonbeams in the magic of the night.

As a living boy, Kyron could look so different now - how would we recognize him?  Why isn't he home yet?  Will the upcoming information give us any hope?

I'm so frustrated, but even after all this time Kyron is still fresh on my mind.  For me, he was really the first kiddo that went missing that 'woke me up' from my complacent stupor about how this world really is for some kids.  Then there was Gabriel following, and I learned about Caylee, and then Zahra, now Hailey.  To me, it all starts with Kyron.

Godspeed, indeed, Little Man.  Please come home.

I'll take partial blame for keeping Kyron in your thoughts and heart.

In looking for info on Kyron, I found this article about a man whose residence is listed as Sauvie Island, and apparently was into Landscaping and is now the subject of a manhunt after shooting a police officer when he was pulled over for speeding.   It also says he has been acting different the last six months.

I don't think it is related to the investigation however.  Lots of coincidences though....

    Yep, it's working alright.

I'm not sure what this may have to do with Kyron's case, but it could be interesting.  I hope the police are able to interview him.

Yeah, I don't really think it's related, but the whole pickup/landscaping/sauvie island thing made it come up in my search.  I don't think the article said why the guy shot an officer.

I don't know if it ties in either, but it's worth looking at. We don't want to assume, do we?

OT mostly

I watched Portlandia on IFC recently and it totally reminded me of DeDe and her ilk. I guess she fits a stereotype. Funny show.

i agree that it is only schools with records of teachers diciplined, there are a few schools i went to not listed as well as a few we have worked at (in my company) that are not listed.
