Another high profile case. It has made the national news. And NeJame is representing the (x?) Chief of Police in Windermere who was involved in covering up the case for his police officer friend.

8 weeks in a hotel room, brought in breakfast and dinner, lunch at court, sounds really horrible to me.  No internet.  OMG, I would die.

I don't think I have ever seen a Judge walk around in his courtroom before. Usually, they scoot out the little side door.  I think he marches to his own drummer, and knows just who he is and is quite comfortable with it. I like him more every time I see him. And how I do love to see him smile!

What a freaking pig he is.  Sorry, I know all of us are entitled to a defense, but geesh come on, can't he defend some non scum sucking disgusting examples of human beings.  How bout some robbers or tax evaders, or speeders or fraud, something not so unworthy of a good defense lawyer.  LOL.

The caseload of Casey Anthony attorney Cheney Mason was the top story on WFTV-Channel 9 at noon today.
“Mason’s client list is getting long,” WFTV anchor Greg Warmoth said.

“It certainly is, and it is a who’s who of major Central Florida clients,” reporter George Spencer agreed.

Scott Frederick Bush, the Windermere man charged with child rape and molestation, announced that Mason and Whitney Bone would be his attorneys. Bone said she and Mason would work together on the case, Spencer reported. Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor was suspended after being accused of shutting down an investigation into Bush, his friend.

The Bush story was also the top noon story on WESH-Channel 2. Michelle Meredith noted that Bush remains in jail with no bond. He has entered a plea of not guilty.

Spencer listed other Mason clients, such as Anthony and former Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer.

Jurors in Casey Anthony case will have limited TV selection

Casey Anthony's murder trial is expected to start in May. A jury from an unknown location will be brought to Orange County for the trial.

Anthony is accused of murdering her daughter Caylee in 2008.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry is overseeing the case. In a status hearing he told lawyers, "jury selection will be different."

Perry, the defense, the state and Anthony will go to an undisclosed location to pick 12 jurors, and an undetermined amount of alternates.

Once jurors are brought to Orange County, they will stay in a hotel. Judge Perry estimates the cost to house, feed, and secure the jury will be $350,000 "to start."

Because the jury will be sequestered, they will have limited contact with the outside world. They will also have a limited number of television channels in their hotel. This is to make sure the jury doesn't get updates or see news reports on the case.

Perry said the list is "acceptable channels, that doesn't carry news or updates."

The state and the defense have until April 1 to review the list.

Didn't read it but assume it is the state's response to bozo's last motion asking to ditch anything about her lying, about her stealing, others statements, the phantom sticker evidence, and some more I forget.  The state had asked for 15 days to respond, since they had only received it 5 minutes before closing before the holiday.
