The State's response is so logical that the judge will have to agree with them.
I'm sure the logic will be lost on Bozo and Foghorn.

LOL
But they DO have a mutant chutzpah gene so they will probably write some lamebrained motion whining about the State's response. Something like complaining that LDB is maliciously trying to embarrass them with big words, rulings cited & attached and making sense...

for Linda Drane Burdick!!! Her responses are fantastic. Each a link in the chain of proof!  I love how she talks about "Casey's searches"  on several occasions!

When talking about the tattoo on pg 11  http://www.docstoc.com/docs/69484725/20110118-SA-Response-to-Defenses-Motions-in-Limine

Since the defendant accepted the spoils of her crime--La Bella Vita--the prosecution should be permitted to show the very permanent way the defendant has acknowledged this.

I hope that CJBP sees that every thing that Casey Anthony did during 6/16 and 7/15 IS relevant, as stated by LDB!!

Did she really write that?  She is good.  See, I was under the impression, wrongly so I guess, that in motions, such as this one, they could not use evidence in a assumptive way.  I guess what I mean is, I thought they could not say the shovel was to bury her daughter, until they proved she was guilty in court.  Get what I mean?  I guess I was wrong, since she is the lawyer and I am a nothing, LOL.

Thanks Fanny, you are too sweet.  I don't mean nothing at all in life, just in the legal sense, cause I have no clue about this stuff.

My kids think otherwise about my sense of humor, of which they say I have none.  I don't laugh at the usual funny things, usualyl don't find them funny, but then once in a while something comes along and I cannot stop laughing. Hubby has to be picked up off the floor watching something like Airplane (1980) and Porky's (1982), but I see nothing humerous in them at all and wonder how I married this man in the first place, LOL.

Legally though, I think Bozo has one up on me, and that is not saying much.

Jurors in Casey Anthony case will have limited TV selection

By Jacqueline Fell, Reporter
Last Updated: Tuesday, January 18, 2011 5:02 PM

ORLANDO --
Casey Anthony's murder trial is expected to start in May. A jury from an unknown location will be brought to Orange County for the trial.

Anthony is accused of murdering her daughter Caylee in 2008.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry is overseeing the case. In a status hearing he told lawyers, "jury selection will be different."

Perry, the defense, the state and Anthony will go to an undisclosed location to pick 12 jurors, and an undetermined amount of alternates.

Once jurors are brought to Orange County, they will stay in a hotel. Judge Perry estimates the cost to house, feed, and secure the jury will be $350,000 "to start."

Because the jury will be sequestered, they will have limited contact with the outside world. They will also have a limited number of television channels in their hotel. This is to make sure the jury doesn't get updates or see news reports on the case.

Perry said the list is "acceptable channels, that doesn't carry news or updates."

The state and the defense have until April 1 to review the list.

The State, Linda Drane Burdick handled these both concisely & brilliantly.   The defense better be prepared for a few more denials, most of these were lamely argued by the defense & largely supported by the State as to what is relevant & what is not.  There a one or two things out of this "deck of desperations" that may be ruled out but for the most part I see the majority being deemed relevant & allowed in.

The State's response is so logical that the judge will have to agree with them.
I'm sure the logic will be lost on Bozo and Foghorn.

Curly, OT, but have to say this.  Your monkey is the cutest I have seen ever on this forum.  I don't know why, but every time I see it, I stop in my tracks.  The others are cute, don't get me wrong, but yours looks like an innocent child or something.  I don't know.  I want one of those monkeys.  He/she is too cute.

Wonder how my dog, ferrets, parrot, cats would like a monkey friend?

I don't know, they may want to remove the Animal Planet from the list.  There may be a show about dead squirrels that crawl up in your car or something.  Eeeks, wouldn't want a retrial now would we?

And they may want to think about the Cartoon Network too.  Might be some cartoon Invis-I-Nannies.

The food network, hmmmm, that might get some of them craving some chili, which we all know the wench got mad at her family for eating on what holiday was it, so that could be an issue too.

Better yet, no TV at all.  Make these poor jurors stare at the walls of their hotel room for 8 weeks, so that Casey can get a fair trial.

It makes me dry heave thinking about all the effort afforded for criminals, when none is afforded to their victims.  Seems wrong to me.  Should be the opposite way around.

Lifetime movie channel loves sappy stories.

Are we sure there are no movies called Bella Vita?

Wow, just figured out you can change the glow color to whatever you want.  See my blue, my favoritest color?

Okay, I am packing it in, must need my sleep, getting giddy and stupid now.
