Great post Northern Rose! I think the info above about Kathy Reichs being around in January and talking about going to NZ in Feb is very relevant and important. It is still January, darn it, and she's still here! Why haven't the MSM picked up on this and investigated further? Sounds like Baez is lying and trying to create excuses again. I hope someone clues the States' Attorneys in on this and they bust Bozo yet again.

O/T It has come to my attention that my avi with the duct tape has offended someone. I am sorry it did, as it was meant as a joke. I meant no disrepect to Caylee, as she is dear to my heart. Again, I apologize to anyone who was offended by it.

It wasn't me, however, I think I can understand how this could happen.  When I look at duct tape while in this thread, it reminds me of how that little baby suffered at the hands of the woman she should have been able to trust the most.  I did realize there are two parts to the duct tape story and the other side is a "we know what you did, Casey.  I thought that is what you were trying to portray, hence the idea of people wearing duct tape to court, a reminder to Casey that we think she did it and this is the mode we think she used.  A pictorial display, if you will, to be seen by Casey showing her we were not buying her multiple stories of what happened, all, of course, exonerating her.

Duct tape, however, reminds some of the suffering, and others that Casey is not pulling the wool over anyone's eyes.  It all depends on how you look at it.  It happens because of the way we remember things and what we attach that memory to.

Fanny Mae, I think I know which it is for you.  I know you love this baby and at the same time want Casey to know you are on to her.  IOW, you have a good heart and would never intentionally hurt this precious angel's memory.

I know for a fact that Fanny would NEVER say or do anything to offend purposefully or be insensitive to any situation.   If everyone reads back, there was a standing joke started by someone else that referenced wearing things to court to remind Casey what she did...our beloved Fanny just continued the joke, not to be taken in any other fashion whatsoever.

Fanny, once again you showed the class you possess by being sensitive of others & I know how deeply Caylee & all too many others are held painfully & respectfully in your heart.   I have to say that I would find it odd that anyone regularly reading this thread would take it other than it was intended, the evidence is just a few pages back.  In the context it was created it merely exhibited your much needed wit & I have to admit I laughed, no I rolled because Fanny you are one funny lady.   The fact that I laughed also exhibits no indication whatsoever that I am insensitive or disrespectful to Caylee, I share in feeling deep pain in my heart what happened to this beautiful babygirl.   The sin of this case is its her mother & entire family whom are guilty of disrespecting this child.

I wonder how Ms. Finnell is going to make all those people on the death penalty appeal to be less reluctant. I can think of about half of them have every reason in the world to be reluctant. 

I'll bet half of them wont be even being called as a witness, certainly not after taking the stand in the case-in-chief or under cross examination by the State (depending on who calls who first).   I gotta get to the craft store & get a few rubber stamps custom made for these idiots foreheads....RELUCTAUNT, ya think?   Have they asked themselves why...o yea they know the answer to that but their agenda for recognition & receiving blood money off a heinous crime has colored them stupid.

I can't believe the names of the people that they want to *help* Casey in the penalty phase.  Amy, the one she robbed blind, the boys she had a good ole time with and all the people that know she lied for any reason and no reason at all.  You just know from seeing other cases that they are actually going to ask these people if she seemed to be a *good mom*.  I just hope that one of them can say this as fast as they can, before anyone can object, "ya, she seemed to be a great mom, right up until she killed Caylee".

About her being a "good mom,"  I thought prior acts couldn't be brought in, only those from when Caylee went missing.

I was talking about the people called for her penalty phase of the trial.  Where she has already been found guilty for the murder of her daughter and the jury must decide if she gets LWOP or the death penalty.  From what I have seen and heard, witnesses will be called to say that when they knew Casey, she seemed to be a good person and a *good mom*.  Almost everyone that has been interviewed had the mistaken opinion that Casey was a *good mom* when they knew her.  We get to know all of the juicy details that make her less than "Mother of the Year" but some of these people were her friends and lovers and relatives before Caylee was murdered.  Casey only let them see the good part of her and lied about the rest.  I am not sure any of this good parenting stuff can come up at trial, it probably can't.  I was just talking about the penalty phase and what the defense may try to get them to say, to save Casey's life.  I still hope one of them say very quickly,  "YA, SHE SEEMED TO BE A GOOD MOM, RIGHT UP UNTIL SHE KILLED CAYLEE."

This and so much more...he's a gun for hire whose been caught fabricating evidence for his sizeable pay check.  You all would drop your jaws knowing how much some of these experts get for a report much less actually testify at trial...his self-destructive reputation & the fact that Casey is "indigent" is exactly why he is not testifying.   What about this compelling evidence of 17 hairs Dr. Lee?  Bozo?   Guess it wasnt all that compelling moreover it was planted there by the defense to cause reasonable doubt...idiots.

She seems to come from California, hopefully they have a super-sized Baker Act, this lady may have out-done JW.  I can't even imagine writing to a Judge, much less one involved in a very high profile death penalty case.  She may be beyond being Baker Acted.  If everyone woman that was abused by a man killed their children, I wouldn't have very many relatives.

I agree with you Cappy on Fanny's avi, she would never ever be disrespectful to Caylee or any matter to do with Caylee.  From what I read that Avi came up in another thread and was done for a funny reason.  Please Fanny if you are reading this, know how much I adore you and love reading your posts, no matter what your avi is.  You are a very devoted monkey and definitely one of Caylee's angels on earth.  One other thing, Brandi is one of the avi artists, she is also one of Caylee's angels on earth, she would of never made a design that she thought was disrespectful to Caylee.  Brandi is an exceptional monkey and I am humbled by her talent at posting and her artwork.  I also know how much time Klass and other mods put into this forum, if any of them thought it was wrong, they would of had it removed in a heartbeat.  Thank you Fanny for being so thoughtful to remove it for anyone bothered by it. I think that goes to show your attitude, more so than having it as your avi in the first place.   This monkey knew the story behind it and was fine with it and hope to see your *regular* avi back soon.
