Jake's surgery went well. His mom called around 5 a.m. this morning and said that all went well and he was in recovery and would be kept there for a few hours , then moved to ICU. The family will then be allowed to see him for a few minutes, then they are going to try to get a few hours of sleep . Now we pray like crazy that there are no rejection issues or other complications.And of course pray for comfort and healing for the Donor Family.

Just stopping in to check on Jake's progress.  I'm glad to hear he's through with the surgery part, and I'll continue to keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so happy!!! I just chatted with Jake on facebook! He is out of ICU, walked 4 laps around his unit today and is doing awesome! I am grinning from ear to ear!!!!!!God is so good!!!!!!
