Besides everything that has ever come out of their mouths, what are specific things that The Anthony's have said that continue to stick in your craw, leave your jaw on the floor, and otherwise just totally baffle you?

I know there are so many that it is hard to choose just one!  Let's discuss here!

I still want to know what Lee meant when he said to Casey in his jail visit "Is this like the last time?"  What did he MEAN by that?  Did Casey make Caylee "disappear" more than once to spite Cindy?  He said it, and interestingly enough, that video was pulled by LE very early in the case never to be seen again.

I remember it like it was yesterday.

What the did he mean by that?  It drives me nuts.

Interesting thread, shannon.  Just a quick reminder though for everyone that's going to post what the Anthony's have said... Please provide a link for information or articles (including quotes) that are brought here to Scared Monkeys.

Muffy is correct.  Just saying it isn't enough, we need a reference link.

Please post the links.

This was a statement from Lee: (the tube sock code talker) "I believe everything my sister tells me"

There are multiples from this video, although I was really going after the 3rd one I listed, so I'll list a few.  And of course, this has Cindy at her finest hammering moment!       http://www.wftv.com/video/17334271/index.html

1:55......If you guys would just put the little girl's picture out there and CONVINCE people she's a missing child....

2:42.....and not one of you guys is doing a damn thing to find my granddaughter. Not one of you guys....

3:30....I want him to do a search around here to satisfy all of you leeches, all of you parasites, all of you maggots out here, Okay?

4:42.....Have I lied to any of you guys yet?

5:24.....Reporter, "Well, what about the odor YOU said you smelled to the 911 operator? What did you smell?"  Cindy says,  I "felt" rotten whatever it was. Something decomposing in there. Maybe someone put a body in there AFTER it was towed to the tow yard. Why don't you talk to them about their security?

Gosh, there's so much we could post here!     Some of what I'm gonna post doesn't baffle me, I just think some are good quotes to remember from this case.

One problem is in finding links to the quotes we've heard over and over, cuz a good many of the original news links/videos don't work anymore.

------------------

"There's something wrong," Cynthia continues to tell the dispatcher in the second call. "I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

"..the truth and Ms. Anthony are strangers."

------------------

"You don't know what my involvement is in stuff?"

Casey to Cindy, during phone call, 8-16-2008

------------------

"I've smelled an odor before.. I'm a nurse of decomposition.."

Cindy, 7-22-2008
(neither of these videos work anymore, maybe someone has a link that still works?)

In all fairness, I think this was just a poor sentence structure from Cindy.
She *could have* meant this:
I've smelled an odor before.. (I'm a nurse).. of decomposition.
It would have been clearer had she said:
I'm a nurse, I've smelled an odor of decomposition before.
Still and all, the statement the way Cindy said it, is hilarious. IMO

------------------

"WHAT DID YOU DO?"

“She had a clenched fist and hit the bed that my sister was sitting on; I’m assuming out of frustration or anger, or something like that and said: “What did you do? We could have found her 31 days ago?”

Lee, on the witness stand, (talking about what Cindy said to Casey), 7-15-2010
http://maxiscomments.com/2010/07/16/family-turns-on-casey-anthony/

------------------

"I try to keep an open mind when it comes to things, but if I'm innocent that's, that's as far as that goes. And as far as anything else on top of that... I'll take this as far as I need to to prove my innocence, which I guess is my point in all of this."

Casey, during an interview with LE (pg 10), 10-14-2008
http://www.wesh.com/download/2009/0305/18861794.pdf

** Notice she doesn't say she "IS" innocent, she states "IF" I'm innocent. **

** I doubt that Casey will ever plea out, because it seems she intends to go to any length to prove her innocence.  We can look back and see just how far she is willing to go.  Scary indeed for her family, friends, acquaintances, and folks she doesn't even know.  **

Jailhouse call with Lee;

Lee:  Did you speak with Caylee over the phone at anytime?

KC:  I did one time, yes!  It was actually the day mom called the police.
