Maybe he's posting from the computer that BD DOESN'T have! lol  These people are full of lies.  I'm just wondering if Mama ain't guilty of a lot more a la EvilE Baker? Not the completely gruesome acts but maybe covering for her loverboy and participating in letting him carry out his horror film fantasy?  If my BF was into horror/slasher and went around quoting American Psycho and I found out he was spying on my daughter I would have a movie playing out in my head!  Was he peeping on her privately acting out a scene from one of his movies or was he into pretty sweet little girls?  I'm thinking movie scene.  You know the typical one...pretty girl in her room dressing, door cracked slightly open, one eyball peeking in, glint of a knife blade, heavy breathing, run of the mill slasher scene.  He loved to act them out...did he do that with HD?  Who is to say he didn't act out his ultimate fantasy.  I'm just feeling a little like a Baker copycat minus all the gore in the home.  Could he have done something with her the night before and the "maybe" sightings didn't happen that day?  Did anyone hear from her that day?  Guess I gotta go look again cause right now I'm thinking no.

My imagination is probably a little overactive but I thought that too (just for a second though because it is something that scares me to the core) that he may have acted out a "horror fantasy". I use to like scary movies when I was back in high school too. But after 9/11 and having kids, it is one of the last types of movies I choose to watch. There are too many real life horrors we read about everyday that I have no real desire to even view that stuff.

As far as SA, I know being a horror fan doesn't make him a killer. But with everything else we know and have seen now, I strongly feel he had everything to do with what happened to that beautiful little girl. I fear that if he is responsible, that she may never be found. I think he is a spoiled, lazy punk mamma's boy. Even though this whole thing is tearing his family apart and dragging some through the mud, I think he is just too selfish and egotistical to confess.
And the one other thing I can't get out of my mind is that "evil smirk" he had when he first appeared with Billie on NG. It really gave me the chills.

I also thought of something my husband said recently. He said his company (an oilfield co.) does frequent drug testing and if anyone tested positive they were terminated. He also said the oil company would be liable if one of their employees were under the influence and did something on the job that injured or killed someone.  I wonder if Weaver Svcs tested employees often and if ole' Shawn was ever tested.

KlaasKids Foundation to join search for missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn

The KlaasKids Foundation, an organization started by Marc Klaas in 1994 after the abduction and murder of his daughter Polly, will be joining the effort to find missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn.

Brad Dennis, director of search operations for the foundation, was scheduled to arrive in Colorado City on Monday night.

Talking by phone from Midland, Dennis said the organization had been contacted by Hailey Dunn’s family and was joining the search in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.

Does any one know how many police officer the Colorado City PD has? I looked on their municipal site, and I didn't see a number.

Have we ever seen Police Chief John Blivens? Is he a real person?  Matter of fact, have we ever seen any of the PD? I think I remember seeing a couple of plain clothes officers going door to door, and maybe some deputies. Mostly I have just seen civilians searching.

Colorado City Manager Pete Kampfer declined to elaborate Tuesday on what was found or why the landfill in Abilene was searched in the disappearance of Hailey Darlene Dunn.
Abilene is 70 miles east of Colorado City, where the girl went missing last month.

Kampfer says searchers also used cadaver dogs in the Colorado City and Snyder landfills.

Hailey was reported missing Dec. 28 by her mother, Billie Dunn. The woman's boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, said he last saw Hailey a day earlier.

No one has been arrested. Adkins has been named a person of interest in the case.

Attorney Says Adkins Smart For Getting "Lawyered Up"

Noted Abilene defense attorney John Young tells KTAB News that Shawn Adkins did the right thing by hiring a lawyer now that he's been named a suspect in the disappearance of 13-year-old Hailey Dunn.
In fact, Adkins began to mention an attorney just days after reportedly failing a polygraph exam on Wednesday, January 5.

Young has defended numerous high-profile suspects in some of Abilene's biggest cases.

"This biggest question is not why he hired a lawyer," said Young. "The biggest question is why he didn't hired a lawyer more quickly."

Young says the seriousness of the offense in this case creates so much uncertainty. He notes that it's very difficult for someone who is unfamiliar with law enforcement practices to know what to do in a case like this.

On the issue of failed polygraph exams, Young said the results probably don't mean much.

"Polygraphs are really tools to sort of narrow down an investigation," said Young. "I'm not really sure you can put a whole lot behind the idea that someone failed or was told that they failed."

Young made it clear polygraph results are not admissible in court.

On the morning of December 27th ... Shawn left his place of employment and returned home prior to driving to his the home of his mother who resides in Big Springs. 

Considering Shawn lied regarding the reason behind his sudden departure from work on the morning of December 27t and ... considering Shawn lied in regards to driving directly to Big Springs ... I contend that the search for Hailey Dunn should be focused between Colorado City and Big Springs.

Have any suspicious cell phone pings from that route on the morning of December 27th been revealed?

GRACE: Wait, wait. He gets to work at 6:00, he -- gets a drink out of the soda machine and then leaves?

WEED: Yes.

WEED: OK. So then, Nancy, he tells police according to this affidavit that he goes directly to his mother`s house located in Big Springs, Texas. But police say no, his cell phone is pinging in Colorado City where Hailey`s home is located.

WEED: OK. So he says he leaves to go to his mother`s house and that`s in Big Spring, Texas. This is at 6:10. But his cell phone pings show that at 6:35 a.m., he is pinging in Colorado City.

GRACE: All the way up until nearly 7:00 a.m.

WEED: Correct.

GRACE: So he goes back to the area in which Hailey lives.

WEED: It looks that way.

GRACE: Question, if he were back at the home, is that the cell tower his phone would ping off?

WEED: Yes, police say in the affidavit that that`s the exact same tower.

GRACE: OK. Did you know that, Billie Dunn? He didn`t go straight to his mother`s. He went back to where the home is.

DUNN: I found that out last night watching the news. He told me the same thing that he went straight to his mom`s house in Big Spring.

GRACE: Now in his defense, to get from work to his mother`s, would he drive through Colorado City?

DUNN: No, I don`t think so. He could but it would be shorter to not come through Colorado City.

They really said they found evidence in one of the landfills. My mind just went to wondering if the evidence was found in the first one, and they were still looking in the other two.

Texas landfill search finds clues in disappearance

LUBBOCK, Texas — An official says dogs searching a landfill have turned up evidence in the case of a 13-year-old West Texas girl reported missing nearly three weeks ago.

Colorado City Manager Pete Kampfer declined to elaborate Tuesday about what had been found during a recent search of the landfill in Abilene, about 70 miles east of Colorado City.

Hailey Darlene Dunn was reported missing from Colorado City on Dec. 28.

Kampfer says landfills in Colorado City and nearby Snyder also have been searched. But he says investigators have not given up on bringing Hailey home unharmed
