Ten political leaders go up against each other in University Debate
Cooperation of Government, Judiciary and Police Discussion Important for Aruba (MEP absent)
Bon Dia Aruba
9/21/2005

Glenbert Croes (OLA)
It is obvious that the Minister of Justice and the Prime Minister erred in the Holloway case, because they weren't in sync with police and judiciary. REgular consultations amongst these was lacking in this crisis situation and this is why there is such a difference of opinions in the case.He can fix Aruba's name by improving cooperation between government, police and judiciary.

Mike Eman (AVP)
One can't measure the productivity of the judicial corps based on one case. What has to be measured is the community's safety, an area where we have fallen behind in recent years.

Cornelius Wilson (Summum Bonum)
Highlights that the Holloway case illustrates how there is discrimination in Aruba. For example the arrest of the 2 security guards at the start of the case. But he also highlights the gesture towards America in the help and indemnification offered after Katrina, which shows Aruba's goodwill.

Andin Bikker (Democracia Real)
Says that the Prime Minister and the Justice Minister don't have a good understanding of Aruba's justice system. The two men in charge missed the opportunity to explain to the American people how the system works. In his opinion, Aruba lost the opportunity to defend herself.

Gregorio Wolff (PPT)
Argues that the Public Ministry let the three suspects go, and that the community doesn't understand why (editor's note: here's proof that the judicial system is confusion even to locals, since it was NOT the Public Ministry who let the three suspects go, but the Superior Court who decided that there wasn't enough proof to keep them detained)

Rudy Lampe (Red)
Says that the Holloway case was an opportunity for people to work together. The leader of Red wants a study of the investigation process conducted.

Benny Nisbet (PPA)
Says that the goal is to arrive at a relationship of respect amongst all involved, government, judiciary and police. He's in agreement with Summum Bonum, in that the two security guards' case was forgotten. The government will have to do much more, be more active so that justice works.

Call from Boston - possible location of Natalee Holloway
DIARIO Aruba
9/20/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Monday afternoon, DIARIO received a call from a Chilean lady in Boston.

(2nd paragraph...cant translate)

The day hurricane Katrina hit theUS, the lady, who lives in Boston was talking with her sister in Chile. For one reason or another, the telephone lines crossed and all of a sudden she was listening in to an American man speaking to another.

One of the men was telling the other that he was recently in Bogota, Colombia, that he went to a brothel and a young woman working there looked very shy, and he thinks it was Natalee Holloway.

His friend asked if he was sure, and his friend then said that he was quite certain that it was Natalee Holloway.

Her hair was tinted black, and she was wearing a lot of makeup on her face.

The friend asked if he was going to tell the FBI or someone else so that something is done, but the man said he works in washington, and for fear that his family finds out the place he frequented, he won't risk saying something about the matter.

The Chilean lady tells DAIRIO that from what she could gather from the conversation, the establishment is one that highly placed men frenquent, like senators and big businessmen.

During the conversation, she also heard that one of the men thinks that perhaps the father of the Dutch youngster is involved in the Colombian prostitution business.

According to the Chilean lady, different international media published the JvdS story and that his father traveled to Colombia frequently and she asked herself why he would.

The lady also said that she has a 19 year old and feels for the family who is looking for Natalee and hopes that this information can be of help.

Ex-commissioner Stanley Zaandam in his new book KPA-Quo Vadis 2,3
To exculpate the son of Paul vd Sloot, the commissioner and fiscal falsely arrested two ex security guards
Police command nominations named as the reason of the mistake

ORANJESTAD – The police corps committed a blunder in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. According to ex-commissioner Stanley Zaandam, who dedicates attention to the case here and also in his upcoming publication.

According to Zaandam, the nominations - of among others Commissioners Bernardina, Dompig, Hassel and Richardson, along with 34 high-rank 1st class inspectors - which are against the law and hierarchy of the KPA [police corps], have serious consequences for the quality and integrity of work in KPA.

Accoding to Zaandam, none of the high-ranked commissioners has the qualifications nor experience to conduct a judicial investigation.

Police at the top of political list

According to Zaandam, Commissioner Dompig is under the instruction of Minister Rudy Croes, of MEP.
He also states that 20 other policemen were ranked high on a political list. Five others (…) among them Commissioner Hassell, according to Zaandam.

He also claims this is how Commissioner vd Straten was appointed to this case. However, according to Zaandam, this should not be work for a commissioner.

BLUNDER

Zaandam continues talking about the blunder under which the 3 youngsters were questioned, which should have been a simple case, but one that resulted in KPA’s biggest blunder, due to the deceiptfulness of JvdS, Satish and Deepak Kalpoe, they remained free another 12 days.

FALSE ARREST

Zaandam keeps on saying in his book, two days after 5/29, the body of Natalee H. may have already been found and Cvp [police commissioner] looked the other way to do a favour for Paul vd Sloot (ex of chief staff of Cabinet PG [prosecutor general] J. Zwinkels). To exculpate the son of Paul, the CvP and fiscal chief prosecutor Karen Jansen made the false arrest of two ex-security guards, Jones and John , called this a ‘tactical maneuver’ , and denied them their freedom for another 10 days.

This, continues Zaandam in his book, is the issue here. However, he has much more to tell regarding the case of Natalee Holloway.

Natalee Holloway case stressfully continues
Dutch experts conclude ‘Dr. Phil’ tape ‘doctored’
Aruba Today
11/25/2005

ORANJESTAD – The island of Aruba continues to grieve with the mother and family of the missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.

The most recent update includes forensic investigators in Holland having found that someone altered a taped interview in which a Surinamese man allegedly claimed to have had sex with a U.S. teen who disappeared while visiting Aruba, the island’s police chief said Wednesday.

The tape was an interview with Deepak Kalpoe in July of this year by an investigator Jamie Skeeters hired by the U.S. television program, the “Dr. Phil” show. In it, Deepak allegedly claimed to have had sex with Natalee Holloway,
an Alabama honors student, before she disappeared in May.

The findings of the investigator were never revealed to the Aruban authorities until after Dr. Phil had the missing teen’s mother Beth Twitty on his program 2 months after the alleged confession.

The Aruban Authorities stated after hearing of the Dr. Phil show in early September of this year, that none of the suspects had admitted at any time of having sex with the missing teen and that this confession collected by Dr.
Phil’s team would be a critical piece of information to the investigation. The Aruban Authorities were surprised that such an important piece of evidence could be withheld for 2 months, and then presented on a talk show before turning
it in as evidence to the case.

It took a month to receive the original DVDs from the investigator and then were sent to Holland for verification. “The tapes played on U.S. television appear to have been altered to suggest Deepak admitted to a sexual act, our forensic investigators tell us, the original tape did not say that,” Gerald Dompig, the chief of police for this Dutch Caribbean island, said in a statement.

On the tape, Deepak allegedly says Holloway “dressed like a slut,” and that he, his brother, Satish, and Dutch national Joran van der Sloot had sex with Holloway, who would have turned 19 in October.

“I have reviewed the findings of the Forensic Institute in Holland ... those results state that the tapes were not authentic in regard to statement made by Deepak
Kalpoe,” Dompig said.

A spokesman for the “Dr. Phil” show had no immediate comment.

“We have asked the FBI to review the same tapes to corroborate the conclusion reached by our Dutch forensic investigators,” the statement said.

Holloway was last seen early on May 30 leaving a bar with van der Sloot and Surinamese Kalpoe brothers. They were arrested on June 9 but released after a court ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them.

Island-wide Searches of the island failed to find the missing teenager.

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley has called for a travel boycott of the island because of how the case was handled.

Holloway’s family accuse the island’s government of not fully cooperating with the investigation into her disappearance.

Aruban officials have criticized the boycott, disputing charges the case was mishandled.

Gov. Riley has sent letters to his fellow governors across the country, urging them to support his boycott of Aruba on behalf of the family of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.

In the letters, Riley blames the Aruban government for what he called “missteps, miscommunication and inconsistencies” plaguing the investigation into the 18-yearold’s disappearance.

Holloway, of suburban Birmingham, was last seen leaving a bar with three young men from Aruba during a high school graduation trip to the island May 30. Each of the three was later taken into custody but has since been released.

Riley, in his letter sent last Friday, said Aruban authorities are no longer communicating with Holloway’s family and are not providing information about the status of the investigation.

Holloway’s family initially praised Aruban authorities for their work on the case, but they recently turned critical, alleging incompetence and conflicts of interest.

The boycott has failed to get support from the U.S. State Department.

Jeff Emerson, Riley’s communications director, said this week that the governor had not yet received any feedback from the other governors.

Official release of Strategic Communications Task Force
A.M. Digital
11/26/2005

Referring to the support proposal of mrs. Lisa Chiafullo, an American citizen, in which she asks to boycott mrs. Beth Twitty in the US communication media; and considering that mrs. Chiafullo’s initiative became known in Aruba, the Strategic Communications Task Force (SCTF) wishes to clarify its positions by means of this release.

SCTF appreciates all those that provide support to safeguard the good name of Aruba. Although we support the intention behind some of mrs. Chiafullo’s expressions of the last few days, we maintain our position that the focus must remain on the investigation efforts that are done in an orderly manner and according to the legal process which is based on real facts. We trust fully that justice will prevail and that it will serve the interests of our island. We prefer to have this position instead of calls for equal time in the media or calls for boycotting Natalee’s family.

Since the beginning SCTF has maintained its objective to assure that the truth, based on solid information, is distributed to all that are involved and/or interested in the case of disappearance of Natalee Holloway. We feel that it is imperative that the Investigation Team can continue with their investigations, that are still ongoing, in order to solve this case.

According to ATIA release
Dr. Phil was accused of sexual abuse
DIARIO Aruba
11/24/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Recently, Aruba Trade & Industry Association (ATIA) put out a press released about the Governor of Alabama.

Bob Riley asked for a boycott against Aruba, were he said that we in Aruba understand the pain of Natalee Holloway’s mother, however, the Governor in this way took a decision that will affect the lives of millions of people, cannot take decisions on the basis of a sad mother’s emotions.

He has to better inform himself, before threatening the livelihoods of 100,000 people in Aruba.

The release also says that ATIA strongly condemns the irresponsible and unprofessional declarations made by Bob Riley.

Dr. Phillip C. McGraw, better known as Dr. Phil, also followed the petition of the Governor and asked for a boycott of Aruba.

His show only portrayed one side of the story of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, without trying to find out the correct facts.

The former therapist stopped giving therapy in 1989, after the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists publicly pulled his attention.

This was due to the fact that he was under accusations of sexual abuse.
[ed. false allegations - read the real story here]

The accusation was on the part of a former patient of Dr. Phil, after which Dr. Phil was placed under supervision. He had to undergo physical and psychological tests, as well as follow ethics lessons.

Dr. Phil also found himself under cases of damages and prejudice against his person by the unjust imprisonment [ed. case dismissed without prejudice] of Laurie Bembenek [ed. convicted killer], while he also owed private jet bills of $132,962.

ATIA continues to say that while they don’t give much value to Dr. Phil’s opinions, all this has a negative effect for Aruba, given that millions of people watch his show.

They also say that doing harm to Aruba will not help solve this case.

ATIA also said in its release that they have full confidence in the police corps and the prosecution’s office that are working on the case, given that our legal system has showed for long years that it is the best in the world.

FBI recording was not the correct one
Dr. Phil manipulated the recording used in his program
DIARIO Aruba
11/24/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN): In the afternoon hours of yesterday, authorities in Aruba received the results of the investigation authorities in Holland conducted on two tapes recorded in an illegal manner where one of the Kalpoe brothers gave one or more declarations.

These declarations arrived to the hands of Dr. Phil who took these and played with them so that declarations are such that they implicate the Kalpoe suspect in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.

Everything started when a private detective by the last name of Skeeters was able to convince one of the Kalpoe brothers to go to his hotel room where they had everything prepared with a hidden camera in such a way that they did an illegal recording which afterwards was aired on the Dr. Phil show.

On the basis of telling one of the Kalpoe brothers that he wanted to do a movie on the whole case, where the Kalpoe brother will become famous, the trap was set because the latter didn’t know that he was dealing with a private detective paid for by Natalee’s family.

After the recording was passed, the FBI obtained a copy of what was aired on the Dr. Phil show, whuile local authorities obtained the original recording that private detective Skeeters gave to Dr. Phil and no one touched.

Both were sent to Holland, when yesterday in the afternoon hours the results came that the tape used on the Dr. Phil show was manipulated.

This will surely become something which will lower Dr. Phil’s credibility and worse still that now there is an action by an American citizen who has decided to boycott Beth Twitty, is showing the other side of the coin related to the whole case of Natalee that Beth is using for another objective.

Dr. Phil showed altered video tape
A.M. Digital
11/25/2005

In this press release the Public Prosecutor’s Office provides the official results of the investigation done by the Dutch Forensic Institute. This Institute investigated the tapes in which a suspect in the N. Holloway case talks with a private investigator on tape. This interview was later shown in a couple of television programmes.

The Dutch Forensic Institute analyzed and compared a video-cd of the private investigator and a tape provided by the FBI which had the interview with the suspect on it with the interview with the suspect that was shown in the programmes of Dr Phil and Rita Cosby.

The results of this investigation are as follows. There are no differences between the interview with the suspect D.K. as shown in the video-cd of the private investigator and the tape provided by the FBI. There are also no indications that manipulation of the images took place.

The Dutch Forensic Institute also concluded that in the case of the interview shown in the programmes of Dr. Phil and Rita Cosby the images were manipulated. These images differ from the ones in the video-cd and tape provided by the FBI.

Editor’s note: The conclusion obviously is that the interview with Depak Kalpoe that was aired on the Dr. Phil show recently, with Beth Twitty present, was not the original interview as Dr. Phil and his investigator Skeeters pretended it to be. The tape was tampered with and altered to let it appear that Kalpoe said something that in reality he did not. How low can you go, Dr. Phil? And…..was Beth Twitty aware of this violation of privacy?

Behold the “bla bla bla they are speaking about Jossy” which was published November 17 2005...in Birmingham, Alabama
Solo di Pueblo
11/23/2005

STA. CRUZ – When we said that sooner or later things would backfire on certain Arubans who are greatly cooperating with Beth and Jug, we knew that God was dressed in pajamas but He wasn’t asleep. An article that was published in an Alabama newspaper didn’t speak too well about Aruba. The newspaper in question received a note from the B&W Travel Guide which didn’t see the necessity of traveling to Aruba. Not because there was a boycott called, but for the simple fact that Aruba has nothing to offer.

The B&W Travel Guide called Aruba all sorts of things e.g. banana republic, a corrupt island, a pollution filled environment, a second image of Haiti and so on. What is most highlighted in this article is a summary of a CIA report that doesn’t paint Aruba in a good light where TNI researchers speak about it between the years of 1997 and 2000.

The B&W Travel Guide also spoke of an Aruban who has appeared on American TV screens, and “guess who” they spoke of…ladies and gentlemen, no other than Jossy “bla bla bla” Mansur…behold the proof…

    Publishers Notebook
    By Chuck Geiss
    November 17, 2005

Boycott Aruba? As much as our community aches for the parents, relatives, and friends of Natalee Holloway, the decision to have Governor Bob Riley call for a national boycott of the Caribbean island places the state of Alabama in an unnecessary and rather embarrassing spotlight.

First, the decision appears to be politically rooted; Riley will soon be running for reelection in 2006. Secondly, there are approximately 1,000 missing persons in our state, almost 40 percent of them adolescents, and crime rates in our own cities and towns make Riley’s grandstanding hypocritical.

Third, his hopes to attract enough attention for a national boycott will not happen.

The State Department immediately rebuffed his proposal for an official statement, and it is uncertain if any number of his fellow governors will follow suit. Plus, most boycotts simply don’t work.
Today, the Mansur family is considered to be the largest player on the island.

Many people I spoke to during my visit agree that few things happen on the island without their approval. Jossy Mansur, the editor of the island’s daily newspaper, Diario, has been a familiar face on cable news channels for the last six months despite the fact that his newspaper prints sensational stories about the Holloway case based on sketchy “inside” information that is less than credible. In fact, much of the information printed in his newspaper regarding

Holloway’s disappearance has simply not been factual.
Many believe, as I do, that Mansur is taking advantage of the Holloway case by utilizing the international media to drive his own personal political agenda against local officials. Up to now, Greta Van Susteren, Geraldo Rivera, and others have foolishly played into his game.

Many of us are remember still that between the years 1997 and 2000, National Security under the direction of Martin Ras, sent a scream to Holland when he took notice of the corrupt and disastrous issues for Aruba at the highest levels of government. More still when Aruba was put on the list of High Risk Regions by U.S. president Bill Clinton.

Names were mentioned and Mansur was among these. Now that Jossy believes that Americans have forgotten, they see the issue against Aruba in its totality and not only against Jossy Mansur.

The B&W Travel Guide expanded a lot on the CIA report which was published by the TNI researchers for Tom Blinkman. A name that Jossy never risks to contradict for his communications.

Today behold Jossy’s same shameful face because the newspaper of Birmingham Alabama, Naked Birmingham, where Beth and Jug Twitty live, did not hesitate to show the fantastic history of Aruba where Jossy’s name appears.

Even Naked Birmigham is of the opinion that Jossy is doing this via international media to spit his vengeance on local authorities and justice officials. If ‘bla bla bla’ Jossy wants to call this then start thinking what they think of him every time that he appears on TV programs. What stands out most is that this article was published on websites where the same Jossy Mansur let his Diario articles be translated. One of them is scaredmonkeys.com.

Check it out. By the way, Jossy, your editorial seemed like whining!!

Congratulations on your achievement, Jossy!

No solid data on damage yet
According to Minister of Tourism effects of Holloway case on Aruba have to be measured
DIARIO Aruba
11/23/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN) – DIARIO interviewed Minister of Tourism and Public Transport Edison Briesen, related to the boycott called against Aruba by Governor of Alabama and Mrs. Beth Twitty, and asked him if our country is feeling its effects. Minister Briesen’s reply was that to deny this is a reality would be dishonest to us.

“Because we have a Task Force that was set up from the beginning of this matter, they started with the case of the disappearance of this young lady. We set up a group on this side for us to evaluate the damage of this, and little by little we have seen that this came upon us, and we have also seen that Mrs. Twitty asked the Governor of Alabama Mr. Bob Riley to go ahead with a boycott. We also mobilized our colleagues in Holland so that they also work on our behalf on a political and diplomatic level”, the mandatory indicated.

Given that there was another governor who also wanted a boycott and postponed this, according to the mandatory the Task Force is doing a good job but they remain with the lack of confidence in the team which has investigated from the beginning the disappearance of Natalee, and this is a difficult position that the government and the people of Aruba cannot change their minds about.

“Even in the last visit of the lady, she sent a letter where she requested that if we could modify or change the group who is conducting the investigation and try to bring forth another investigative group. We told her that the Office of the Attorney General is autonomous and they put in place the team who will investigate, because she asked for people who she believes can assist in this case, according to the mandatory.

Also, the dignitary said that he can see that also in Parliament the petition was made by a member of State, if the government can support the petition of Mrs. Twitty, given that the many people think that here in Aruba there were perhaps things that were not taken care of, like many other people outside of the Prosecutorial Corps believe how the investigation had to take place.

The government still hasn’t done a survey of room occupancy and flights to Aruba, and this is research that they are going to do. But a little time ago, the government had its annual meeting with the top agencies that sell Aruba in America and in what deals with the traditional market that produces tourists to Aruba, they said that they have not felt any effect and that perhaps Aruba is little promotion or none at all in other states that don’t know Aruba in the same way a big group who comes to Aruba annually do and that perhaps with them the matter has had an effect.

The dignitary indicated that the government is taking care of this matter with all diligence, and is not waiting for results to come to Aruba with its hands crossed, to correct the damage that this situation could cause, but has to be prevented for this matter not to escalate.

How big the effect will be, the government doesn’t know still and according the Minister, AHATA will do a survey of its members to see if this case truly will have consequences for Aruba, in what pertains of the influx of tourism from December until the end of high season.

Rainbow Warriors International proposes campaing
Stop the boycott against Aruba with lawsuits in the U.S.
DIARIO Aruba
11/23/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN): Recently, a possibly boycott by the environmental organization was cancelled by a contract signed by Bouldin and Lawson.

Contrary to what Minister Wever insinuated, Rainbow Warriors International is working in the general interest of Aruba and the rest of the world. This is what Milton Ponson declared last Tuesday night to DIARIO.

The word was that organizations from abroad with the contract of Bouldin an Lawson will be dealt with in House of Commons in Holland and that they will use country regulation publicity of governing board in Aruba and Law publicity of governing board in Holland to bring out ALL documents to the public.

Contrary to what Minister President Nel Oduber wants, giving only ‘for inspection’ document, our organization is of the opinion that the members of parliament of Aruba have every right to demand and obtain copies of ALL documents so that they can control the executive power.

Otherwise, it is then MEP and Minister President Nel Oduber and his cabinet that are rightly managing a banana republic and are giving all the American media who are supporting the boycott called by Governor Riley and Beth Twitty, good reason to call our country corrupt.

According to Ponson, their organization supports a conversation with Mr. Jaap Baujon, member of the Strategic Communication Task Force and offers their services free of charge to help disarm the boycott called against Aruba.

Rainbow Warriors International has ample experience on the topic of boycotts and contrary to what the human rights expert Mrs. Henriquez, the lawyer incorrectly said that any person, group or organization can call a boycott, which in essence is a call for consumers to NOT purchase certain products or services, in the case of Aruba the product is the trip and stay in Aruba.

An economic sanction IS what the United Nations General Assembly can enact against a country. Because of this, any attempt on the part of the Aruban community to let the United Nations intervene is useless, given that we are dealing with a ‘consumer boycott’.

We are in agreement with Mr. Bob DiLella, political consultant of the MEP party, who declared in an article published on November 21, 2005 in Amigoe, that we have to become more aggressive.

To take away Beth Twitty’s strength, her defamation campaign has to be attacked as much as the media who support it as with elected officials, for example governor Bob Riley of Alabama.

Litigation is underway now, where a lawsuit has been initiated, given that among others, Dr. Phil indicated that he is NOT interested in giving the opportunity for ‘rebuttal’, and he isn’t either interested in ‘fair and accurate news coverage’.

It would be good for everyone to realize who Phillip McGraw, better known as Dr. Phil, is.

He is co-founder of Courtroom Sciences Inc., a company of litigation consultants which helps big companies that appear on the famous Fortune 500 list, to win cases in court.

It is Dr. Phil’s company who saved Exxon Mobil from paying an insurance claim of more than USD$600 million for the biggest petroleum leak in Alaska’s history with its Exxon Valdez.

It was Dr. Phil who saved Oprah Winfrey’s skin, when she had a multi-million dollar lawsuit against her, after Oprah Winfrey proposed to stop eating beef, due to the risk of mad cow disease.

Undoubtedly, Dr. Phil’s company is assisting Mrs. Twitty in the background. The time has come to grab the bull by the horns and stop pretending that this issue will disappear.

Our opinion as an organization with experience in the boycott arena is to declare that all signs point to this being simply the ‘warm-up phase’. If the MEP government and others want to be political ostriches (with their heads in the sand) ALL in Aruba end up harmed.

Enough with pretty letters to Minister Bot, protests at the Plaza Betico Croes and Open Letters in the press. It is time to act!!! Ponson proposes lawsuits against the media who do not want to provide us with rebuttals and/or fair and accurate news coverage.

American lady gets angry and starts a boycott against Beth Twitty
Lisa was engaged to a known movie actor
DIARIO Aruba
11/23/2005

ORANJESTAD(AAN): On Tuesday, DIARIO received an email directly from a lady, who showed that she has already started a boycott against Beth Twitty.

The lady is called Lisa, and in an interview with the local radio broadcaster Magic F.M. she explained that she was engaged to the well-known actor Jean Michael Vincent and she was mistreated by the actor until she lost her child.

After this it resulted that due to the mistreatment and the mistreatment that she received from the well known singer Billy Idol, she can no longer have children.

She explained that she endured much sadness due to this and she understands Beth Twitty’s sadness, however, she finds it ridiculous that Beth Twitty and all those who support her have started a boycott against Aruba.

Because of this, Lisa decided to start a boycott against Beth Twitty, and sent a press release and email messages to ask for all people around to the world to boycott Mrs. Twitty.

Lisa said that she laments what Twitty is trying to do with Aruba, after everything Aruba did for her. She said that Mrs. Twitty has to stop interfering in the investigation into the case.

Lisa explains that she finds it very ridiculous and irritating that every night Beth Twitty says the same on TV channels, where she has become good friends with all the hosts of these programs, such as Dr. Phil and Greta van Susteren, who she calls by their first names.

Lisa explains that it is very strange that Mrs. Twitty does not shed any tears and this is very noticeable when comparing Mrs. Twitty to the mother of Amy Bradley, who was along on the Dr. Phil program, where Mrs. Bradley after so many years still cries, while Beth Twitty was sitting as nothing had happened.

Lisa explains that she feels that Beth Twitty wants to profit from this whole ordeal.

Lisa also said that she dares Beth Twitty to start a case against her, given that she has the funds to defend herself if necessary.

Requests to boycott Aruba
A.M. Digital
11/23/2005

The Aruba Trade & Industry Association (ATIA) was unpleasantly surprised by Alabama Governor Bob Riley’s call for a boycott against Aruba. Granted, the former real estate agent’s influence on the opinions of people beyond the state’s borders is negligible, but even a small negative impact on our island’s small and vulnerable economy would be most regrettable, especially if this might cause financial hardship on hard working Aruba families.

We understand that the mother of Natalee Holloway cannot help but be emotional. Any mother of a missing girl would be overcome by emotion. We consider this perfectly acceptable. What does disturb us is that a Governor of a state, whose decisions affect the lives of millions of people, allows himself to make decisions based on the emotions felt by a grieving mother.

People in positions of power and authority should hold themselves to higher standards and should base their decisions on facts and logic. Governor Riley should have made serious attempts to get complete and correct information before threatening the livelihood of 100,000 good and hard-working people.

The fact that Birmingham, Alabama was just ranked the 10th most dangerous city in the entire USA, underscores the fact that Governor Riley is trying to divert attention away from his obvious failures in serving his constituency.

ATIA strongly condemns Governor Riley’s irresponsible and unprofessional declarations. We feel that it is most regrettable that a person who is supposed to govern his passions and practice virtue would allow himself to use a small and vulnerable island as a pawn in his bid for reelection.

The call by Governor Riley was followed by another such call by Dr. Phillip C. McGraw, alias “Dr. Phil”. Dr. Phil’s show, which caters to the daytime TV audience, presented a flawed and biased picture of the events surrounding Natalee Holloway’s disappearance. The show also failed to make any efforts whatsoever to get the facts.

The former therapist quit his practice in 1989, shortly after being publicly reprimanded by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, a move not taken lightly by that supervisory body. The reprimand was a result of an accusation of sexual abuse by a former patient [ed. false: reprimand was for employing a former client], and as a result Mr. McGraw was placed under a year of supervision by a licensed psychologist. In addition he had to complete physical and psychological exams as well as an ethics class.

Lawsuits over unlawful imprisonment (by Laurie Bembenek) [ed. convicted killer Laurie Bembenek] and unpaid corporate jet bills (US$135,962 worth!) only serve to further undermine the credibility of this “holier-than-thou” individual.

While we do not hold “Dr’ Phil’s” opinions in high regard, we do recognize that his daytime talk show is watched by millions of people around the World, some of which might actually pay heed to his call for a boycott against our beautiful and safe island.

It should be obvious to any intelligent person that hurting the people of Aruba will not help in solving this case.

ATIA has complete confidence in our police department and our prosecution department in the handling of this case. We are proud of our justice system which, over the years, has proven itself to be second to none.

We are also proud of the Aruba people for continuing to support Natalee Holloway’s family in their efforts to find out what happened, and to see justice done in case a crime was indeed committed. We must all continue to be courteous and show the famous Aruba hospitality to all of our guests from abroad, especially to our American guests that choose to visit our island in spite of calls for a boycott.

Editorial: Natalee and the bla bla bla professors
by Jossy Mansur
DIARIO Aruba
11/21/2005

I didn’t know that in Aruba there were so many professionals who are specialized in bla bla bla, that is to say, those who express their baseless opinions, but what is revealed is their ignorance. There are some media in Aruba who are somewhat politically inclined which have lost notion of reality and which hide the word ‘truth’ behind their forgetfulness.

They can very well continue to wait for a reply from me that will never come, because I am not going to waste time tending to some fanatic blindingly tied to their negative habits of twisting everything and interpreting in their own way what they can’t express or write.

Their sick focus on the case of Natalee has become a pathetic aspect, not because it is difficult to solve, but because of the errors committed and the sentences dictated are obvious to everyone around the world who is aware of them.

It has nothing to do with whether Natalee is alive or not, but with the judge who came from Curaçao who preferred to ignore all the good work that the Aruban police did and the solid presentation of the prosecutor. Are the three suspects guilty or innocent? This will come out because you cannot hide this truth for very long, but sooner or later, it will come to light. On my part, they are innocent if Natalee turns out to be alive!

Some media, addicted to the government of the day converted the case of Natalee into a political circus. We, on the other hand, maintained a posture of looking at the case for what it is, and indicated the factors which came out of the many admissions of the three principal suspects: Joran, Deepak and Satish.

No one has accused them of murder, but they themselves admitted to police during interrogations that something bad happened to Natalee while she was with them, without specifying what ‘something bad’ was! That they admitted to committing sexual abuse against her, is in the admissions they made to the police, also confirmed by the latest videotape by Jamie Skeeters with Deepak, who made important revelations which incriminated all three.

I do not share the opinion that our police agents acted indifferently, or that they intentionally covered up certain details, but I do agree that there were strange things which happened at the beginning of the case that have to be deeply investigated to determine how one or another agent could have diverted, covered or twisted some details which ended up complicating the case more than necessary. My confidence in our agents continues as firm as ever.

It is not extensive that the judge who presided over the case and decided that some things were inadmissible. He could be the best judge in the world, but in this case, he made light of and greatly neglected to pay attention to the three suspects’ admissions, since he didn’t even interrogate them about what was left hanging in the air, such as the declaration of Joran at the beach that he believes that Deepak raped and killed Natalee! How did this matter end there? How were the other accusations and counter-accusations among the three suspects not evaluated for their just content? To say that they are chronic liars is not sufficient; it has to be determined where and how they lied to be able to arrive at the truth.

That Joran is in Holland thanks to the judge? I don’t have a problem with this; where I have a problem is with the official explanation sent to DIARIO from the Justice department specifying that the judge decided to se him free because he expressed his wish to continue with his studies. What will happen if another person in KIA also decides that they want to continue with their studies?

And about the matter of the boycott against Aruba. I have explained on various occasions and on American national media that I am not in agreement with any sort of boycott against our island for any reason.

I have explained to those with a sufficiently open mind to be able to understand, that Aruba has nothing to do with the case, that it is simply the place where it happened, nothing else! Justice is being handled by the Dutch, not by Arubans!

The boycott will be avoided by avoiding crazy statements, imprudent and mismanaged protests and by trying to engage in a dialogue instead of confrontations. We are known around the world as people who are sensible, hospitable and thankful to those who invest in our island and want nothing but good.

Additionally, I am certain that in Aruba we have enough sensible people to intervene and solve the matter in a way that is acceptable for all involved. If we permit that the intention of the boycott continue to grow, then it can become very serious and we all end up losing.

I will let the bla bla bla speakers continue with their subject matter. They exert no influence on me, no matter how many unfounded and unjust attacks are launched against my way of looking at the case, but there is one thing that I will not accept, and that is to tolerate any indirect comment that I could be against the interests of our island.

I have fought a lot and against great forces to defend Aruba; I have confronted countries and contrary interests in our fight for Status Aparte; I have run all sorts of personal risks during the time I fought against the communist current that arrived to Aruba from Grenada and Cuba, propagated by some cell that is still active on our island.

And I continue to be vigilant, now against the current intention to introduce in Aruba a totalitarian way of thinking and acting, in the creation of a sort of government whose negative alliances with neighboring countries, because it will destroy the peace and tranquility which reign on our island.

That I have an enormous respect for Holland? That is categorical! It is not for nothing that I am fighting for us to preserve our Dutch nationality, for us to become part of Europe on our terms, and for us to continue simply rectifying what is wrong in the justice system, which itself is good.

There are some that interpret the system who are deserving of my criticism; not the system itself, which I have categorized on American television as one of the best in the world.

I maintain my opinion, despite that the judge who came from Curaçao to complicate the case and threw it to the wolves. It is through the action of the Dutch judge that the serious problems started for Aruba and it is driving the American national sentiment in a negative direction toward our island.

Look at the problem for what it is, not for what you want to turn it into! It is the sentence of the judge who came from Curaçao which gave rise to the impression that the Dutch justice system is full of holes and open to partial interpretations! And they want to attribute this to Aruba, instead of placing the blame where it should be: in Holland!

Aruban casino owner with criminal past goes to America
Joe Mammana is not permitted to enter Aruba due to his past but how did we end up with Mike Posner?
DIARIO Aruba
11/21/2005

ORANJESTAD (AAN) The case of Natalee is taking other unexpected twists and very negative ones that are going to tarnish Aruba’s image as a safe destination for tourists and investors.

Joe Mammana has a very impressive criminal past in the U.S. but for one reason or another he has found publicity with different cases which have set his image straight and in the case of Natalee, he is trying to find national attention in the US by using sensationalism via the American media.

The government of Aruba recently declared that they will not permit Joe Mammana to enter Aruba.

Related to his past and criminal record, the government took the decision via the Minister of Justice that they cannot let such a person enter Aruba and about this there was information circulating that this Joe person sent a threatening letter to those who were detained in Aruba related to the case of Natalee.

The government’s actions in this case were correct because they cannot let this type of person come to Aruba and believe that they can come do what they see fit on our island, and to boot, Mammana is one of those who is trying, body and soul, to organize an unjust and unjustifiable boycott against Aruba.

What is strange is that the government refuses to let this ex-criminal enter Aruba, but on the other hand, permits another ex-criminal, Mike Posner who is going soon to the U.S. for cases of law violations, to be able to have a business in Aruba, and enter and leave Aruba whenever he wants.

To make matters worse, the person in question, Mike Posner, has been able to obtain a permit to operate a casino, where anyone who wants to have a casino in Aruba and the majority of other countries in the world have to have a clean criminal record.

Recently, this information has started to circulate in the U.S. as well, and seeing that it hasn’t been many days since via the American media false information was given that Aruba is a sort of den for criminals and even terrorists, the matter of the Aruba casino owner with a criminal past in the US, is going to help those who want to implement a total boycott against Aruba.

Wasn’t it in Mike Posner’s casino that the principal suspect in Natalee’s case, Joran van der Sloot, was sitting gambling, despite the fact that he was underage and that never should he have been permitted to enter the casino?

Some weeks back, other media in Aruba came out in vanguard of the ex-criminal Mike Posner and wrote and article that praised Mike Posner for his supposed achievements in Aruba and what interest they had with him, nobody knows.

Now that the government refuses an American ex-criminal entry to Aruba, the government has to justify the reason why until today they continue to permit a person with such a police record such as Mike Posner, can come to set up a business in Aruba, continue to operate his business in Aruba and come and go whenever he wants.

What sort of handling of Justice is there in Aruba and what impact will this case have in the US when the American media start to question the government of Aruba about this matter?

This matter is pending because there are more questionable things here and also the role that certain politicians in Aruba play and continue to play in this matter.

New spokesperson in the US Steve Cohen referring to Beth Twitty
Sadness is no reason to not speak the truth
Our island now has a person recognized in the US to bring forth the other side of the case of Natalee Holloway
Bon Dia Aruba
12/3/2005

Cohen was involved with the SCTF from the beginning. Has written many articles and has been in contact with American media to show what Aruba has been doing.

Pesquera doesn't believe any other country would have done as much as Aruba has done. If you could put a price on it, the price tag of what they have done is in the millions. The hotel and food costs covered for the family of Natalee Holloway is up to $350 k. The expenses of the government, in terms of police overtime and all other expenses, for example lost productivity, the half day off given to public employees, etc. is in the millions.

Cohen is working to bring the other side of the story to the American media. Among others, he is working with CBS on a story of Aruba which will air in February.

Cohen will go on local TV of the most important markets for Aruba to put forth the real image of Aruba.

Prosecutor to come from Curacao, not for Natalee but to investigate the Public Ministry
Attorney General sent letter to prosecutor Karin Janssen this week to prohibit her speaking to the press
War in Public Ministry continues!
Bon Dia Aruba
12/03/2005

ORANJESTAD – The war in the Public Ministry took another turn this week when the AG sent a letter to Chief Prosecutor Karin Janssen, and informed her numerous time that she cannot speak to the press. This letter was dated December 1 and was specifically addressed to Janssen.

MEND RELATIONSHIP
It can be recalled still that the Minister of Justice Rudy Croes gave this department one month the mend their relationship and end with the whole war that is going on in the Public Ministry, otherwise he will have to take measures.

WOMAN OF THE YEAR
Recently, an Aruba media outlet named Karin Janssen as their Woman of the Year for the year 2005. Something that the prosecutor appreciated very much and celebrated afterwards as well. Bon Dia understands that there was an incident where the prosecutor cut a cake to celebrate this but that the AG did not appreciate this gesture in the least.

PROSECUTOR ANGELA
At the same time as well, it is Bon Dia's understanding that the prosecutor from Aruba who livesin Curacao, prosecutor Angela, will have to come to Aruba to help solve the case of Natalee Holloway and that she will remain until there is a satisfactory solution. It is known that Angela is a very successful professional in Curacao and that she has been able to solve many cases. But now it turns out that her visit to Aruba is not to solve the Holloway case, but for war within the Public Ministry and how to solve this.

THE CLOCK IS RUNNING

Bon Dia Aruba continues to keep a close eye on this case to see how it is going at the core of the Public Ministry since once again, it looks as if things are not going well in this department and that the clock is running for this responsible to take action, such as Rudy Croes alluded to some days ago. He gave the department one moth, otherwise the measures that have to be taken will come.

Court TV creator becomes spokesperson for the Strategic Communications Task Force of Aruba
According to Steve Cohen, we have to straighten out Aruba’s image
DIARIO Aruba
12/03/2005

ORANJESTAD(AAN): A press conference given by the Strategic Communications Task Force (SCT) took place on Friday, where the CEO of AHATA and members of the SCT that they held a meeting and they came to the decision to name a special person to be spokesperson for SCT, for everything that has to do with the case of Natalee Holloway.

ATIA’s president, Serge Mansur, said that the decision was to name Steve Cohen for this post.

Steve Cohen has worked as a reporter and presenter in the US, where he was a ‘Senior News Executive’ in Los Angeles and New York.

According to Mr. Mansur, Cohen is one of the creators and producer of the famous Court TV in the US, where he had experience in more than 150 big cases in the courts of the US.
Steve Cohen was also vice president of CBS during 12 years.

This person was on the case from the beginning and has been coming to Aruba since 1979.

Steve Cohen took the podium, where he thanked those who gave him the position of spokesperson.

According to Cohen, 6 months ago, Aruba was a country that was considered as safe, where tourists were safe in their beloved vacations.

Now, 6 months later Aruba is still the same, but the image that the US has o Aruba has changed, because of a worried family and others who think that Aruba did not act fast enough, speak and think badly of Aruba.

The objective in the months to come is to change this back. We do not have the amount of criminality that America has and we have one of the best police corps in the area of the Caribbean.

This, according to Cohen, who said that this is the message that has to be heard for Americans, but Beth Twitty is still saying that the judicial system of Aruba is not working and that it is corrupt.

The fact that a person or family is sad, does not take away that they always have to speak the truth about what has happened. According to Cohen, his role is going to be to let the truth continue to prevail.

The press asked Cohen how he thinks he will do this. According to Cohen, he will try to go on talk shows to try to relay his message to Americans.

SCT also will work closely with the Public Ministry and the investigators of this case, where they will try to let representatives of the Public Ministry or the group of investigators go on one of these programs, after they have had good coaching.

He said that attorney Arlene Ellis Schipper has done a tremendous job, but cannot confront alone all those that they have put against her in the American programs.

According to Joe Mammana
An American life is worth more than any quantity of foreigners’ lives
While attorney Schipper explains how the Deepak conversation was manipulated
DIARIO Aruba
12/03/2005

ORANJESTAD(AAN): Recently, in MSNBC’s Rita Cosby program, they dealt with the case of Natalee Holloway, where they focused among other things on the matter of the recorded conversation with Deepak Kalpoe.

They also spoke about the boycott against Aruba, where they spoke with representatives of Aruba, as well as with different radio broadcasters from other channels.

One of the broadcasters was for the boycott against Aruba, and the other, Steve Yuhas was of the opinion that a boycott was very ridiculous.

There was also a psychic on the program, who said that she supports the boycott.

She also said that regrettably Natalee is dead and that Deepak, Joran and Satish are guilty, while Joran’s father also knows what happened.

Joe Mammana, who is the millionaire who helped Beth Twitty come to Aruba with his private jet at the beginning of the case, and who supposedly is cooperating with the mother in her search for Natalee, spoke very badly about Aruba.

Mammana, who was a criminal and was incarcerated in the US for a long time some years back, has been making donations to charitable organizations for a number of years to try to redeem himself.

Now he has decided to participate in the boycott against Aruba, where on American TV he reacted in an aggressive manner against Aruba.

He brought a big quantity of posters and flyers, saying that if one goes to Aruba, one has a big chance of being raped and disappeared. His intention is to distribute the posters around America.

He also said that one American is worth more than any quantity of foreigners around the world.

Attorney Arlene Ellis Schipper, who was on the program to defend Aruba, explained that Aruba cannot go and fabricate evidence to make people guilty in order to please the US. In Aruba you also have to have sufficient proof to punish someone.

Mrs. Schipper told DIARIO Friday that after the program, she received many positive emails from people in the US, who after the discriminatory declarations of Mammana, realized how unjust the matter of the boycott against Aruba is.

In the emails, there were people who said that Mammana must remember that people of many different nationalities live in America and that if he says that one American is worth more than any quantity of foreigners, this is a declaration against other American citizens who have established themselves in America recently.

Friday, Mrs. Schipper gave DIARIO a more elaborate explanation about the matter of the recording that Jamie Skeeters made of Deepak Kalpoe.

It is after Dr. Phil aired the recording of the conversation on his program, local authorities requested a copy of the tape to investigate.

It was after 6 weeks that Aruban authorities procured the CD Rom and VHS tape, but not voluntarily.

The copies of Skeeter’s hard disk, as well as the tape that aired on the Dr. Phil show was then sent to the Nederlandse Forensische Instituut (NFI) and the results showed that the copy of Skeeter’s hard disk did not show evidence of manipulation.

There was a strange ‘skip’, but no manipulation. As for the copy of the Dr. Phil show, NFI clearly said that there was manipulation.

Not only did they edit the conversation, but they cut certain words. According to NFI, they cut just before ‘she’ and just in the word ‘didn’t’.

On the copy of Skeeter’s tape, the sentence that Deepak said after Skeeters asked if Natalee had sex with all three of them was: “no she didn’t”

According to NFI, on the tape of the Dr. Phil program, they removed the “no” and they removed the “n’t” on the word “didn’t”, to make it seem as if Deepak said “she did”.

This, according to NFI, is not ‘edit’, but manipulation. Holland and Aruba via their so-called “Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty” (MLAT) with the US requested that the US confirm this result.
This was asked two weeks ago and still the US has not sent any result.

According to attorney Schipper, who is part of the Strategic Communications Task Force, experts from MSNBC made a test on the tapes also, and confirmed what the NFI observed.

Now apparently the Dr. Phil show has taken a negative posture against MSNBC, because they also observed that it is probable that the Dr. Phil show manipulated the tape in their favour, to sensationalize in order to raise the show’s ratings.

Attorney Schipper explained to DIARIO that she is not defending Deepak Kalpoe, but it cannot be that the American program has done everything to show as if the police and the investigation in Aruba are good for nothing, in order to start a boycott against our island.

Steve Cohen appointed as spokes person for Aruba
A.M. Digital
12/03/2005

The Strategic Committee that was instituted in the Natalee Holloway case called a press conference yesterday where Jorge Pesquera, President and CEO of the Aruba Hotel & Tourism Association announced that for the passed few weeks they were in search of a spokes person to counter arrest all incorrect information that is distributed in the US press especially via TV.

According to Pesquera, a consensus was reached with Aruba Tourism Authority that also helped in the intents, to appoint Steve Cohen to do the job. Both organizations found Steve Cohen to be the adequate person in the position. Cohen is already much involved in the case and has already been advising the Government. He has been doing a great job behind the curtains, according to Pesquera.

It was Serge Mansur who presented Steve Cohen, who used to be a journalist, anchor and executive in the media market. He was a producer of the program Court TV and attended various cases of missing children.. Cohen was Vice President of CBS for twelve years and besides being in the media market in Los Angeles he is also active in Boston, San Diego and New York. He is a real professional and a friend of Aruba as he has been traveling to Aruba since 1979.

Cohen, who knows Aruba, says that our island has been known as a safe and hospitable island and now, six months after the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, nothing has changed in spite of the incident with the American teenager that caused negative comments on Aruba in the North American market. The changes occurred when the family of the disappeared teen decided to speak nothing else but bad about Aruba.

Therefore Steve’s purpose for the next couple of months is to counter arrest all false information because Aruba is the same as 6 months ago. The Judicial system is working. We are a country with order where all that violate the law are punished.

Aruba has the best police force and the best Public Prosecutor, certainly in the Caribbean and that is the kind of message that we must be sending out to the American people, according to Cohen. He will make use of all media that are willing to listen to the other side of the coin.

Republican Hyde, Chairman Of Committee On International Relations: Aruba Boycott Has No True Support
DIARIO Aruba
12/2/2005

Republican Henry Hyde, Chairman of Committee on International Relations in the US House of Representatives, commented yesterday to local media that he believed the boycott call by the Governor of Alabama is not receiving true support in the U.S. He considers the boycott an individual action and not one that would be sustained nationwide.

"We want to resolve this case as fast as possible. We do not believe that the boycott would help the case," Hyde said. I believe the relationship between the Aruban and the U.S. congresses is good. I think the people who understand the complicity of the two justice systems are less worried and will not support the boycott, he added. "Aruba is a very important strategic area. It is a friendly island and we have to maintain a strong relationship with it," he said.

Hyde and a delegation of 5 other congressmen had been on the island for one night, staying at the Renaissance Resort after they were denied permission to deplane in Venezuela on Monday. The delegation traveled ye

J says to D: Hoe, hoeooooooo.
J says to D: You declared shit against him.

J says to D: Then you’re going to start talking shit about the choller (drug addict).
J says to D: My friend, it was me that helped you with that shit / the matter of the choller.
D says to J: I said that too.
J says to D: I didn’t read that, I also read the declaration.
S says to J: The thing about the choller was from me.
D or S says to J: That’s what I just said.
D or S says to J: I also said that in my first declaration. I did that for myself.
S says to J: I said that in my interest.
J answers back: That’s what police are telling me now.
J says to S or D: Police told me about you now, if you go against me then that’s when I will go against you.
Brothers laugh: Heheheheheh
S says to J: We didn’t put you in this problem.
S says to J: We simply told the truth.
J says to the brothers: You didn’t do that.
J says to the brothers: Half of what you said isn’t the f***ing truth.
J says to the brothers: That’s going to show in time.
J says to the brothers: Same as they control me, they control you too.
S says to J: About us, about us. They can find proof, but not about you.
S says to J: With lies there is no proof.
J says to the brothers: Everything is shit from Karen, you don’t know shit.
J says to the brothers: f*** you.
D says to J: You think the girl doesn’t have anything on, you’re going to see who, who f***/coy (the last part could not be heard well).
J says to D: We will see.
J says to D: You know when I’m going to laugh; when I give you a wanta [punch?] in the face.
J says to D: And I’ll laugh if they find the girl alive, f*** you.
J says to the brothers: I know very well that you’re scared.
J says to the brothers: If you did something bad to the girl, then we will see.
S says to J: I’m not scared.
S says to J: What do I have to be scared about?
D says to J: I want them to find the girl.
D says to J: You’re going to say shit about me in regards to the girl, that I buried the girl at the Fisherman’s Hut.
J says to D: Who said anything about a burial, I didn’t say anything about a burial.
D says to J: You declared that.
D says to J: Stop with the bullshit.
J says to D: I didn’t say anything about a burial.
J says to D: The only thing I can think of is that you know people, who are people of Automotive Enterprises.
S says to J (apparently in a sarcastic tone): Hahahaha, after I’ll get a flat tire he.
S says to J: Hahahaha, after went to get you and after I went back to the beach for the girl.
J says to S: Who said that.
S says to J: That’s what you said.
J says to S: My friend, I didn’t say that.
J says to S: My friend, I never said that you went back (apparently referring to the beach).
J says to the brothers: That’s your problem.
J says to the brothers: If they find the girl, then they will see the shit.
D says to J: 8 more days and I’m going home, I guarantee you this 1000 per cent.
J says to D: We will see.
D says to J: You don’t give a shit about your family members.
J says to D: The only thing I can think about is my family, I am doing what my family told me to do.
J says to the brothers: He, +++++.
D says to J: You’re like your father, incredible.
J says to D: What about my father, it’s your fault he was detained. I didn’t declare anything against my father, it was you who spoke against my father.
S says to J: I didn’t declare anything.
J says to the brothers: Of course you did.
S says to J: What did I say / against your father?
J says to the brothers: You said that he (Joran’s father) said that if there’s no corpse there’s no case, or I don’t know what more sorts of shit.
J says to the brothers: That’s not true, the only thing he (Joran’s father) said that if there’s no body there don’t have a case.
D says to J: That’s true.
J says to D: Nothing of that is true.
D says to J: I also said in my declaration that he wasn’t kiermen [?] like that.
J says to D: 20 (what’s is 20? Should be the word ‘esey’) I didn’t read that in your declaration.
J says to the brothers: That’s what they’re using against my father.
D says to J: We have suffered a lot because of you.
J says to the brothers: That’s the price that you’ve let my father pay. That you’re suffering so: f*** you. If you let me suffer, I say OK. I don’t have cunes [?] I can sit calmly 160 days here, for me it doesn’t make a difference. I’m ok here.
Brothers say to J: Me too, me too.
J says to S: And you Satish, they told me that you son of a bitch…see spirits in your cell.
J says to S: They told me that you see the girl in your cell and you get very scared.
S says to J: I saw a spirits? Two other guys saw spirits.
S says to J: You also believe people who are in this prison.
S says to J: What you say has nothing to do with spirits and is cheap shit.
J says to S: They speak well of me, but not of you.
J says to the brothers: And also the two guards (the two security guards who were detained the first time?_ guaranteed me that they will kill you when you get out of prison.
D says to J: Oh, yeah?
J says to the brothers: Who made the declaration about the guards; it was you and not me. Why? Because I didn’t want to bring anyone into the problem who has nothing to do with this case.
D or S yells to J: The lie was for you.
J says to the brothers: It was you who admitted that.
D or S again yells to J: The lie was for you.
J says to the brothers: You paid (with money) him (referring to a male person) however.
Brothers laugh: Hahahahaha.
J says to the brothers: You called by telephone saying that ‘I’ (the ‘I’ here is referring to one of the Kalpoe brothers) hit the jackpot. You said by telephone: “I hit the f***ing jackpot.” You forgot that the telephone was tapped.
S or D says to J: Shut your face.
J says to the brothers: You forgot that, +++++!
J says to the brothers: And when you got home and said that you fixed everything. You told me “I fixed it’.
J says to D: Good for you. Because of you I’m also in prison.
D says to J: Ayiaaaiaaai.
J says to the brothers: Juffle [?] man, what can you do?
D says to J: What can you do?
J says to the brothers: Make me shut my face, no.
Brothers say to J: f*** you, we’re not talking to you anymore.
D says to J: Talk until you get tired.
S says to D: You have clothes
D says to J: What are you going to do with that. I’m getting out of here in 5 days.
J says to O (apparently D): That’s what you think.
D says to J: Shut your face.
D says to J again: Shut your face, you bitch.
J says to D: What can you do.
J (should be D) says to J: f*** your father.
J says to D: If my father doesn’t get out tomorrow, then you’ll see.
J says to D: My friend, shut your face before I hit it shut.
D says to J: Do it if you can. You’re already in prison.
J says to D: It doesn’t make a difference, they can put me in the f***ing Cachot [?] I don’t have cunes [?]
D says to J: They’re going to give you 15 years if they find the girl.
J says to D: Why? Why?
D says to J: That scholarship of yours. Gooooooodbye, you can forget about it.
J says to D: Yes, because of who, because of you, +++++.
J says to D: You know very well that you did something bad, otherwise you wouldn’t lie.
Brothers say: Aaiaiaiaiaiaiai.
J says to the brothers : I should kill you, +++++.
J says to the brothers: Shut your cancer face.
D says to J: Won’t it be nice if tomorrow you’re standing in front of the RC (judge).
D says to J: How not? Too much proof.
J says to D: Then they can hit me too.
J says to D: You think that to me that makes a difference? One strike will be enough.
S says to J: You think, you think.
J says to S: You think that you can go home to get your gun.
S says to J: That I have a gun?
J says to S: Satish, you go get a gun from home, I shoot you dead [?]
S says to J: Look, police went to my house, they searched the house and they found a gun?
S says to J: What did they find?
D says to J: It’s been hours you’re talking bullshit.
J says to D: How is this shit not true, witnesses saw you.
S says to J: In the end, we’ll see who gets out and who stays.
S says to J: You tell the truth, we will see.
J says to the brothers: I know that I’m getting out.
Brothers say: We will see hahahahaha.

Dan Young insists: Jug Twitty is the father of the baby that Natalee was carrying
DIARIO Aruba
01/17/2008

ORANJESTAD(AAN): A press conference took place Wednesday morning related to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The press conference was given by two Americans, Dan Young and Kelly Castillo, who work in the spiritual world [mediums].

During an encounter of the press with the two people who work in the spiritual world, which surrounded the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, the press asked Dan Young and Kelly Castillo what really happened to the American youngster.

According to Young, the week of her disappearance, Natalee worked out a plan because she knew that her mom and dad were coming to Aruba.

Young continued to say that at a certain time in 2006, they brought police to a place without using a map. When police observed something remarkable, their mouths dropped and one of the police agents D.J. said that he would send agents with special dogs early the following morning, but this never happened.

Young also said that he has the names of various people who were with Natalee and the names of the different streets where she was.

He said that Natalee suffered an overdose in the hands of other people who are not Joran, Satish or Deepak.

According to Young, if this was not true, he would not know all the names and details.

Young explained that he understands everything about this case, because when he was younger, he also ran away from home.

According to Young, it’s true that Joran left Natalee at the beach, but afterwards other people came across Natalee and befriended her. They helped her hide in the San Nicolas area.

According to Young, it is practically impossible to think that a 17 year old boy such as Joran could be so good to cause an international mystery, after which he passed his exams easily.

Young said that when by coincidence he met Paul and Anita van der Sloot, he put his hand on Paul’s chest and said: “I know that your son didn’t do anything” and Paul and Anita started to cry.

Press asks Young of how Beth lied.

According to Young, she lied to hide what really was happening in their family back home. It was not the first time Natalee ran away from home [according to Young].

Joran himself said that Natalee said that her mom was like “Hitler”.

Young asked himself of how no one interrogated adequately the kids who were with Natalee in Aruba, nor the pilot of the private jet that brought Beth to Aruba.

Beth wants to put the attention on Joran and on an island that supposedly didn’t do enough, to distract the attention from herself and the situation in her home.

Beth believed that Anita and Paul van der Sloot at first also were helping to hide Natalee. Young continued to say that there’s a female person of high position who is no longer in Aruba who has much more information on this matter.

She is in the U.S. and knew for sure that Natalee was alive. This case became a big “cover up”.

Young also said that Beth and Jug were very afraid of the truth coming out. Young dared Jug and Beth to prove him wrong.

According to Young, he is willing to put his reputation and career on the like. Young said that Beth and especially Jug are in fear that the truth comes out because he [Jug] is the father of the baby that Natalee was carrying.

DIARIO asked Young the names of any of the people who knew the truth of Natalee’s disappearance and he mentioned Marian Ann Smith and someone name Minard.

Young also showed to the press the immigration document that clearly showed that Beth arrived in Aruba at 7:45 at night and not 11:00 as Beth has said.

DIARIO asked Young and Castillo some of the names of the local people who know about this case and Young said that one of them is locked up in KIA and that he spoke with Dolphi Richardson about this and also other authorities.

DIARIO asked Young how he believed that those who were with Natalee did not come forward with her to claim the reward money.

Young explained that because people had seen what happened to Joran, Deepak and Satish and the fact that the young woman died of an overdose at a certain point, was sufficient reason for them not to come forward.

Despite everything that was brought up by Young and Castillo, DIARIO’s point of view remains unchanged, which is that Joran, Satish and Deepak are those who really know what happened to Natalee Holloway.
