Good Morning Monks-- Yes, Bearly, it is BS.  I suspose that her boyfriend (And was he lucky to get away from her clutches) will be called to testify that they broke up in '03 and that is the "Decision" to which she refers in the so-called diary.  Yet, don't they know the state can produce definitive evidence that the book was not available in stores until sometime in '04? They need to read the documents they receive from the SA or at least read the forums.  Many here know more about the evidence than Casey's defense team knows.   It is apalling that Baez and Mason seem to come up with a new theory every  other day and go off in an entirely new direction without even wrapping up their last theory; the shotgun approach, hoping one of the pellets will hit it's mark.  It is said that Mason has a good professional reputation.  Whatever he had, he's lost it now and thinks defending a child murderer will be fun.  Time to take down his shingle and put it away in a drawer somewhere.  It's sad that he doesn't know it's time for him to quit.  Whatever reputation he had going in is now lost forever.

Absolutely!!  This is the same attorney that offered an opinion with Local6 that Casey would be convicted with a life sentence way back, December 12th 2008 to be precise.  He also criticized both Casey's parents & attorneys for their media tour.   He even took part in a conversation on what type of juror he would or would not want at Casey's trial.  He also stated that "there isn't a snowball's chance" that he would put Casey on the stand because she would be confronted with too much.  Before Caylee's remains were found he insisted that there is nothing to prove it was a murder versus an accident, "without the body the State is in a hole," well now there is a body & yet he took on this case fumbling on his own words.  Despite no cause of death listed the evidence of duct tape wrapped around Caylee's mouth and what was found in Casey's trunk is glaring.   At that time made his "life sentence" remark he suggested a plea should be taken or the trial would be a circus...after he decided to take on the case guess who confronted him on his previous prediction....none other than Kathi Belich.     No shock here, Mason claimed he didnt remember any such statement    My question to him is:  Are you enjoying being a ringmaster to the circus YOU predicted, is it fun yet?

Okay, let's for a hot sec pretend the diary book itself was available for purchase in 2003 or before.  The "boyfriend" can claim he "thinks" he knows what those words meant but nothing he would offer could be considered "knowing" for a fact what it was referencing, he didnt write it & it didnt come from his mind.   The other thing that is quite frankly hard to accept is that a promiscuous, self-absorbed 16 year old would be considering a breakup with a boyfriend a life altering decision...melodramatic or not.  Casey's history with "boyfriends" is so extensive that it would be rather difficult to conclude that she truly gave an "ex" much consideration other than the attention it brought to herself for more than a New York minute.   Her history will also show that after that date its rather obvious she didnt give this "boyfriend" a second thought beyond 2003.  The same attention she received from her online activity & dozens of other guys is coming back to haunt her regardless that one idiot is willing to come forward for his 15 minutes of shame.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry approved more taxpayer money Thursday for Casey Anthony's defense.

Anthony's defense asked for funding approval for 30 transcripts of depositions.

Anthony was declared indigent in March, so the Justice Administrative Commission now doles out funding for her defense. Funding must be approved by Perry.

Okay I don't see how in the world they are going to get pass that the diary wasn't even on the market until 04.  Beside saying the company was wrong or are ling to help LE frame Casey. Like they seem to be trying with every one/thing else. We all know as it gets closer to trial time it's going to get even crazier with Baez and Mason.  I agree with Bearly and everyone else it's all BS. Like it's been said from the very beginning of this No one could write this stuff.  Justice for Caylee is coming    And when that happens Baez and Mason will disappear back under the rocks from which they came.

The judge in the Casey Anthony murder case will decide in March whether WFTV-Channel 9 reporter Kathi Belich and other newly announced witnesses will be allowed to testify, according to a court order signed today.

Anthony's defense team filed a supplemental witness list late Monday naming several new people who could be called to testify in the case. The deadline for disclosing witnesses other than law enforcement officers and experts expired on Aug. 31.

On Tuesday, the State Attorney's Office took issue with the filing of defense witnesses so late in the process.

On Wednesday, the defense team responded, saying Belich was listed as a witness "to rebut witnesses just listed by the state involving an investigation launched against Laura Buchanan."

Laura Buchanan was a Texas EquuSearch volunteer who claimed to have searched an area where the remains of 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony, Casey Anthony's daughter, were found in late 2008. Others have said the area Buchanan claimed to have searched in early September 2008 was under water at that time.

Also, how are they going to corroborate what this boyfriend states about a diary entry in a book not sold until a year later without putting Casey on the stand to testify as to what she was writing about?   Do they really want to push this knowing the State could very well say, "Well, you could always put your client on the stand to tell us what she was writing about & when exactly she wrote it as well as when she purchased the diary itself, do you want to do that now or after the ex boyfriend testifies?"
