One of the more troubling aspects of the case is how it seems to point to a strange division of sorts within ALE.

Yes, yes and yes. And the best explanation as to why J2K, unbelievably, stayed with the HI story even after being arrested. They knew an arrest was coming and they knew ALE had busted the alibi. Paulus' connections were forced to temporarily abandon the cover-up...but there was more help on the way.

Can you tell me how I make those little squares that quote what someone else says appear in my reply?

Not Elaine, but since this took me about a year to figure out:

When quoting, do not hit the posy reply button.  Click the quote button at top right of post you want to quote.  When box pops up, make sure you start your reply after the last
Quote
symbol. Then hit submit.

Maybe Elaine will have a clearer answer.

Sure, up in the right hand corner of every post there is a lil box that says quote. You click on that lil box before you post.

Okay... got ya!

Thanks, Klaas, too.

Patti -

When you see someone's post you want to quote, just click on the QUOTE button above their post.  Looks like this in the upper right hand corner of the post.  Then it brings up the box for you to type your message.  Just start your message after the quoted part:

Klaas even included a picture of the quote box! Smile

What if they found a size 11 shoe and he produced a receipt changed to a size 14 (easy to change an 11)?? The "found" shoe would be too small for him.  Why would an investigator even bring up the topic unless there was evidence of something.  I don't think they just wanted his shoe size "incase" they found something.

Did they find a shoe?

If so... what was it's condition?

Good evening monkeys.  So are we talking about a size 14 shoe or a 10.5 shoe?

I always figured it was more likely that Joran wore a size 14 than a 10.5.  I suppose though, he could have abnormally small feet for his height.   Wink

Wish FOM was around.  Wonder what size shoe Mickey John wears?

me too

except the police guy said the shoes fit.. the size 10 that is

remember OJ......the glove fit too Rolling Eyes

I have no idea what they found, but why interrogate unless they have a shoe or print...I don't believe they would base their questioning on if someday we find a shoe or print...JMO

I like the way you help to keep the cage clean.  I would offer to help but I cannot do things like sweep and mop.  Dr's orders.  If caught I would be in big trouble.  I can dust tho if needed.

    Conversely - you're so cool ... it's not unfunny.

Patti - At one time we even had a shoe size comparison chart. We could not account for the descrepancy in sizes. No standard - UK, US, Europe, Japan, etc. - had a size 14 equal to another standard 10. (Or whatever those numbers are.) But yes, there must be SOMETHING about the shoes ...

I am not sure what size feet Joran has (although it looks like he has some big dogs). But, I would bet his feet stink, just like all the lies he tells. Laughing
